See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

Fun, good tid bits about the history, provided a different look at the sites than the typical 'monument only' tour. Segways are a blast to get around on and quite easy to get familiar with.

This was the highlight of our trip. The kids were skeptical that they would be able to make the Segway work properly but it was easy and they really enjoyed the experience. I have already recommended this activity to friends who are planning a trip to DC in the fall. This is a must do activity.

Just do it. It's a blast and you won't regret it. The tour is a little short but still good. This is great to do as a first step in D.C. just to see some of what there is to see. But the real reason to do this tour...it's a heck of a lot of fun. If you've never ridden a segway, you don't know what your missing. Get out there and enjoy.

Great fun. The night tour is the best with the monuments all lit up and few pedestrians to avoid.

The Capital Segway Tour is a blast! Being from the area and having done the tourist thing on many ocassions, I wasn't sure I was going to learn much, but the tour guides are not only friendly and fun, they have lots of interesting city facts! The segway itself is really fun - once you get the hang of it - and now I'm spending my days trying to figure out how to justify buying one... I highly recommend this tour for both locals and those traveling in to see the DC sights!

A great way to quickly see some of the key attractions in Washington and learn about the city, while having great fun riding on the Segways. Our guide was very helpful and we all found that we mastered the Segways very quickly and were soon riding confidently. We pre-booked the tour over the internet before we arrived in the USA and took it on our first morning in Washington, then we used the information we picked up on the tour to help plan what we did for the rest of our stay.

This tour by this organization was superb! We had great equipment, great instruction and exceptional preparation. The staff is professional yet fun, knowledgeable but not stuffy and we felt completely safe and protected while free to roam a bit too. My friends are still telling everyone back in California how much fun they had on this tour and how it will become a standard "must do" every year when they come out to visit me. I now have something that I will suggest to all my friends and family when they come here and feel confident that it will be one of the highlights of their visit.

Good selection of sites, personable tour guides, and great view of sunset from the Capitol building made for a wonderful evening.

My wife and I had a great time. At first my wife didn't want to go, because she thought it would be hard to learn to ride the Segway. Now, we're ready to go again, and bring some friends along. It was so easy to learn, and so much fun. It is a little stiff on the legs, but you do get a chance to step off the Segway and stretch your legs. We can't wait to book another tour.
