See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

The best way to see Washington DC's wonderful sights in so little time and on the coolest ride in town too!

We really enjoyed riding the segways throughout the city. However, we think the tour could use some improvement. Most of it was "here is this monument, here is this building, here are a few facts about these sites." Brief and incomplete would be the best words I would use to describe the tour. Moreover, due to traffic signals at the crosswalks, sometimes the tour guides would begin their spiel before everyone in the group (there were ten of us) would be at the same location as the tour guide. Not very cool for people in the back of the tour. So, if you are looking for a fun two hours riding around on a segway, then do this tour. If you want a more in depth tour, perhaps this is not your tour to take.

The Segway experience was completely fantastic! I am a klutzy person but I had no trouble at all learning to use the Segway in less than 1 minute. This is an excellent way to see the DC historical sites without all that walking which just wears me out. It's also fun to watch people, watching you. I highly, highly recommend this tour. It's worth every cent, and more! Every time I go on vacation, I'm going to check whether there is a Segway tour at that location. It was awesome. Thanks for being the highlight of our stay! The segways provided a great saving of time and energy in getting an overview of the sights of DC. The tour guides were helpful and informative. The tour gave us a chance to identify locations and activities that we could concentrate on at another time. The segways were great fun!

I took my cousin on the segway tour and I had previously gone on the tour with my parents who begged to go on the segways. I think that is a great way to see some of the city. I am disappointed that your tour does not go by the supreme court, also it would be nice if you hit some of the monuments like Jefferson and Lincoln. The stories are pretty good for the sights, sometimes it is hard to hear the guide especially if your in the back of the line. The only negative are the homeless in the practice riding park area.

If you're going to splurge on a guided tour of the city, this is the way to do it. My husband and I used to live in the D.C. area, but we learned a lot from this tour and had a great time riding the Segways. Our 17-year-old son and his friend declared that the Segway tour was the highlight of their trip. Don't miss it!

This was a really enjoyable Tour. The only thing that would have made it better was if it lasted longer and went to more attractions. The Segways were extremly easy to use.

I brought my out of town cousins visiting the States on this tour their first day in DC. What a hit! We had such a blast, learned a lot of interesting facts, our tour guide was really friendly, knowledgeable and knew where to take the good photos. It would have taken us the better part of a day to walk around and see what we covered in 1.5 hours. And we kept cool and had so much fun in the process. Highly recommend!

It was a pleasnt activity. The guides were knowledgeable and attentive.

I took my boyfriend to DC for the weekend for his birthday and we did the Segway tour in the afternoon. It was a great way to see the city while doing something fun. We would definitely do it again.
