| Fun, good tid bits about the history, provided a different look at the sites than the typical 'monument only' tour. Segways are a blast to get around on and quite easy to get familiar with. |

| The Capital Segway Tour is a blast!
Being from the area and having done the tourist thing on many ocassions, I wasn't sure I was going to learn much, but the tour guides are not only friendly and fun, they have lots of interesting city facts!
The segway itself is really fun - once you get the hang of it - and now I'm spending my days trying to figure out how to justify buying one...
I highly recommend this tour for both locals and those traveling in to see the DC sights! |

| My wife and I had a great time. At first my wife didn't want to go, because she thought it would be hard to learn to ride the Segway. Now, we're ready to go again, and bring some friends along. It was so easy to learn, and so much fun. It is a little stiff on the legs, but you do get a chance to step off the Segway and stretch your legs.
We can't wait to book another tour. |

| Being a DC native, I was very impressed with the tour guides, as they were knowledgeable about the monuments and landmarks. They were also very helpful with taking pictures, answering random questions, etc.
Riding the segways was a great way to see the city, my only complaint is that 2 hours isn't enough!!! |

| My wife and I took the tour based on recommendations from friends. Even though we are local to DC, we found the tour informative. We also enjoyed touring the city on the Segways. There isn't a better way to get around and still feel and see the city in the open all around you. |

| Whether you're new to the DC area, just visiting, or even if you've been living in the area for a few years, going on a Segway tour is definitely a fun and unique way to see the sights and get around town for a couple of hours! The instructors are very friendly and helpful with making sure you're comfortable on the Segway before going around town. And, the Segways definitely help with seeing as much as you can, and more quickly, without tiring from walking to see all of the same things - very nice advantages for a hot, sunny day!
The only thing I wish could have been a little different was the frequency with which we had to travel along the same (sometimes crowded) sidewalks as pedestrians/tourists. It wasn't too big of a deal for those who were comfortable riding on their Segways, but was sometimes daunting for those not-so-comfortable on them. Also, while the stares and curiosity we got from onlookers while on the Segways was fun, it was apparent that some walkers didn't enjoy sharing the sidewalk with our "vehicles". So, if that could somehow be improved, I think it would make the tour even better.
Overall, though, it was fun and I would definitely recommend it! |

| RIding the Segways was an awesome experience! Especially while taking a night tour of the Monuments.
But, out of the group, two of the Segways were not operating in "perfect" order, one pulled to the right throughout the trip, making some parts of the trip a bit more of a challenge. The second basically went wacko about two-thirds of the way through the tour.
Also, as much as the little red lights on the front and back of the bikes are necessary, some low cost LED flashlights shining down in front of the bikes would be an excellent addition. These types of lights are cheep and readily available for camping and bicycling. Including them onto the Segways would provide just enough light on the darkest parks of the sidewalks etc. to avoid accidents etc.
Our guide was definitely energetic. But, it was also clear our tour was one of many hundred he led over the summer. He is strongly encouraged to find ways to keep each ride/tour "fresh" and not wrote. A helpful hint would be to seek out oddball information such as what is the brick enclosed fountain on Capital Hill? Is it true there is a helicopter inside the Newseum? why is the USDA's building architecture different from DOC's? Why isn't USDA next to the White House? Why is the DOC next to the White House and not the Hill? Was is NOAA under the DOC and not NASA? Why does Grant's statue at the base of the Hill face east, towards the Lincoln and Washington monument?
Furthermore, we zipped by the Botanical Garden without so much as a beep about it glass green house or those odd globe sculptures set up in front of the building.
I realize no guide can be perfect for everyone and it is important to say I really enjoyed the tour and hope to do it again with the next round of visitors. But, despite the overall experience, to the group (the client) it was their first (and likely last) tour so a guide should treat the group as if it was his first tour of the day, not last. |

| This was a work group event. The goal was to give a group of summer interns exposure to the city as their first mentor/mentee event. Everyone enjoyed the tour and it provided a different atmosphere for everyone to mingle and get to know one another. |

| The DC Segway tour was the most fun I've had in DC in 2 years. In addition to learning to ride a Segway, we learned a wealth of information about the buildings we saw. The tour guides were extremely knowledgable and informative about such buildings as the White House, the Smithsonian Castle, and the Hoover FBI building. I WILL do this again in the near future. |

| We had a terrific time. The Segways were much easier to ride than we had anticipated. The tour guides were helpful and informative and the entire experience was great. |
