I felt the tour was great with lots of good information given by the tour guides. Having taken other segway tours I think a little more training would be helpful for new riders to segway. More attention on going downhill and being able to control their speed. |

Riding a segway is every bit as fun and intuitive as people say. And, it is so much better than hiking from memorial to memorial and coming home exhausted. The earpiece for the guided tour keeps things interesting. |

We booked a 2-hour tour. The Segway takes about 2 minutes to learn, and another 5 minutes to master, and it's wicked fun to ride. The tour guide (young, knowledgeable, and funny) kept up a running commentary; the riders listen through wireless headsets. The tour covered the National Mall, from the Capital to the White House and points in-between. It's a good way to get an overview of the main attractions, in order to plan where you want to spend your time. You get the street-level intimacy of a guided walking tour, but in a lot less time, and YOU GET TO RIDE A SEGWAY! |

Justin, our guide, was phenomenal. He was entertaining, accommodating, knowledgeable, and fun.
This is the second time I've done this through your company. I recommend it to everybody.
Thank you. |

My wife and I really enjoyed the Segway tour. It was very easy to operate the Segway, especially with the expert instruction provided by the staff. The tour itself was both enjoyable and informative. I now know the full story on "breaking the glass ceiling" among many other interesting facts about our nation's Capital. If you've only given a passing thought to taking a Segway tour, go for it. It's an experience you won't soon forget. |

Just riding the segway is already worth the time and money... On top of that, to see the sites of the Federal Capital with a guide is just over the top! A fun 2-3h for anybody that wants to try something different! |

The tour guides did a great job teaching us how to ride the Segways and gave us plenty of time to practice. The 6:30pm tour was a great because the car traffic wasn't too bad. The guides told us interesting information and were very helpful for taking photos.
Overall a wonderful tour! |

This is the first time my wife and I are in DC, and the first time we rode the Segway. We loved the experience. Washington DC is the perfect place for a Segway tour - large flat open space with sparse traffic. The equipment provided by Capital Segway is in tip-top condition - the Segways, the helmets and the headsets with crystal clear sound. We didn't try any other Segway tour companies, but we are completely satisfied with Capital Segway's tour. Justin and Andy were our tour guides and they were awesome. I don't know if the other tours provide headsets, but it does make a huge difference being able to hear everything the guide was saying even when we are on the move. |

Great -- But Personal Politics Is Not Needed

I absolutely loved this activity. Both of our tour guides were fantastic, but I only felt that way over the two hours. Initially the gentleman teaching us how to use the Segway seemed annoyed with us -- or something, I don't know. He just didn't strike me as friendly. Then, throughout the first hour of the tour we were inundated with his personal thoughts on politics in Washington. I probably didn't share the same views as him, but he was so funny I didn't mind too much. I'm a fairly easy-going guy. Maybe not everyone would feel the same way. The second tour guide was even better and truly did have a great voice for his job. It was fun. Overpriced, but fun. |
