See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

We did the tour in September with our college kids and then again last weekend with friends. The first trip was during the day and the second was a night time tour. Both trips were great. We probably enjoyed the night time trip a little better of the two - fewer tourists on the sidewalk and the tour was a slightly different route though this might vary tour to tour. All in all, a great trip! We wouldn't mind if there was ALSO a tour emphasizing riding around more and to different places with fewer history/sightseeing stops/briefings. The stops are informative, but we've already gone on the tour twice AND we live here, so a tour emphasizing riding around to different places would be fun.

This is a great activity for local and visitor alike. The tour and Segway guides give a full and comprehensive tutorial and everyone in our group felt comfortable tooling around DC within minutes. In fact, all had a great time and the age range was from teenager to 60+. The tour passes by and stops by some of DC's main sights and there is a pause for photo ops. I would recommend this tour for everyone! Good value for the buck.

Although the segways were fun, the tour guides were dull, unenergetic, and apparently disinterested in what they were doing. I will reccomend a segway tour to friends, however I will suggest they they use a competitior of Cap Segway because I am confident that their tour guides are better than the ones we had.

The segway tour of Washington, D.C. was an amazing experience. It was the first time my friend and I had been on a segway, which is a unique and fun way of seeing the city in 2 hours - we covered a lot of ground! Our tour guide Antonio was a good instructor and very patient as we learned to maneuver around on the machine. He was a very knowledgable guide, giving us great details on the monuments and sights, while also adding humor. He also encouraged us to enjoy the segway in open spaces. I highly recommend this in D.C., or any other city where you can find Capital Segway.

The Segway Tour of Washington was absolutely the most fun I've ever had on a guided tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and funny. He made the experience a lot of fun. I felt perfectly at ease on the Segway after only a few minutes. I would recommend the tour for anyone who enjoys something a little different than the usual bus tours.

The principal benefit is getting to ride the Segways. This was my first time on the DC mall, so we got the benefit of a very general tour, and got a feel for where things were.

From the friendly greeting upon entering the door, Noah, our tour guide for the group of 10 Segways was a positive and helpful contributor to a full exposure of major city highlights. The safety concerns, trial run on the equipment, and close watch, provided a self-confidence. This allowed time to enjoy the many sidewalk level views knowing the controls. The D.C. Segway tour is highly recommended.

This is a great way to get the lay of the land before returning to the specific sites you wish to visit. First time for me on a Segway and after a short shakedown instruction ride off we went. I chose an early Sunday morning ride which minimized the crowds. Makes you want to get into law enforcement just so you could ride around in one of these all day long. Highly recommend this fun way of getting acquainted with any city that offers Segway tours. The Staff was informative about the area and offered to take as many pictures as you might ever want of yourself on a Segway in front of famous sites. I even bought the DVD "10 MPH - Seattle to Boston".

I've taken the tour before and thoroughly enjoyed it. It was just as much fun the second time around. Keep up the good work!
