See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

Highly recommended! The tour group was a lot of fun and the guides were knowledgeable and cheerful. The full time was used which was great! The tour guides were accomadating and would take pictures when asked and would spend as much time as the group wanted at specific sites. It is a very enjoyable experience as well as a very convient way to see and learn a lot about DC without having to walk! Segway tours are the way to go!

The tour guides were amazing! At first the segway can be a little intimidating...but they helped us to relax and become one with the unit. They were well versed in the monuments and also added some humor to the tour too which was a plus. And just the fact that I know that everyone in the US has busy lives, but the fact that the tour didn't take a huge chunk out of our schedules was also perfect!!

Great light commentary and a fun way to save your feet and still see the sites. We had a ball and are looking to do another Segway tour in another city as we continue our holiday around the states.

My fiance and I have lived in DC for 4+ years and just decided to do a Segway tour on a whim. It was more than worth it! We've already talked about taking my parents on the tour when they're next in town. Great experience! The segways were fun to ride and our tour guide, Larry, was friendly, informative, and funny - we loved his jokes :)

Being Northern Virginia residents since we were kids, we have been to D.C. as tourists more times than we care to count. So why pay for another tour? Because we got to ride segways!! Now, that may not seem like a big deal, but it's all about the experience. We had so much fun that we found ourselves not wanting the tour to end. The company and tour guides were great and we highly recommend other doing the Capital Segway tour! Our tours guides were great. They were extremely friendly and had a great sense of humor. They had us laughing and completely entertained as they narrated and guided us through the city. They were very educated about D.C. and the attractions -- we learned things from historical trivia to great yet little-known restaurants and everything in between. They were also great about making sure everyone completely understood how to use their segway and was comfortable riding it. Safety was their top priority. Our guides were constantly aware of where everyone was and what they were doing (i.e. they gave us enough time to take pictures, they offered to take our pictures, etc.) They made sure nobody got left behind or was in any kind of danger when we had to drive in the street. We really appreciated that. Overall it was a superb experience. We had so much fun and barely had to think about anything because we were so well taken care of. We highly recommend the Capital Segway tour to everyone. It was worth every penny!!!

if you want to have fun get a Segway tour, easy to understand how to do it !you really can go out on the street after the short session they give you! my mother who was so scared , ended up being in front of everyone!! My group was small ,only 5 people ,so we could stop, take photos where we wanted! the tour guide was nice and easy going! Give you a chance to try this wonderful experience!

I wasn't sure what to expect of this, but its more fun than you could think. The tour is very and information is very good, the tour guides were brilliant and we had a good laugh with them. But most of all, the segways are just fantastic fun. Very easy to control also.

The segway tour date night I planned for my husband (recently married) for his birthday was fantastic! WE both had a blast learning how to use the segway, and he loved playing on it! We both enjoyed the sights, sounds and scenery of DC! I've lived in DC for 5 years, and I was able to see things on the segway tour that I never knew existed and I've never seen before. The guides were some of the most well-versed and knowledgeable guides I've ever had in the city! They had answered all our historical questions as well. I highly recommend this evening out on the town!

My group had a great time on the Segways. It takes only 5-10 mins to get your bearings on the machine before you're ready to go. The instructors were knowledgeable and patient with newbies. My only disappointment was that the tour didn't include the WWII Memorial, the Jefferson Memorial, or the Lincoln Memorial. It would be my recommendation to include both on the tours in the future.

The segway itself was very cool to ride around the city on. It was my dad's first time in DC and was a great way to show him the sites. The guides were full of information and were humorous and interesting when sharing facts about each site we passed. I would definitely do it again anytime.
