See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

We had a WONDERFUL time on this tour. The equipment was first rate (newest models), the instructors thorough and patient. The tour itself very informative of the various sights. We covered 7 miles in 2 hours and had a delightful time. Segways are simply FUN, and very easy to learn with instruction and a little practice. I never felt off-balance or about to fall. Having some experience skiing and windsurfing made the movement and steering very familiar, but others who hadn't done those sports felt comfortable as well. My husband and I had seen Segways in use in other places and had always wanted to try them. We were not disappointed. In fact, we plan to rent them the next time we are in Washington to cover more ground in the time we have. RAVE REVIEWS! DO IT!

Although it may seem scary at first, our guides instructed us and allowed us to practice before the tour started...It was surprisingly easy to learn and by the end of the tour we didn't want it to end...You'll amaze yourself how good you'll be after the 2 hours. If you're thinking about this at all...do it! You won't regret it.

I really liked the segwaytour, both for the touristic interest of Washington DC and the information provided by guides and also for the fun of running on the segway machine which was a whole lot of fun.

This is the best way to get to see the major sights up close in only 2 hours. The guides were fun, helpful and informative. Anyone can do this, I am 62. The next time I am in DC I will do it again!

We had a great time, and my very frightened scared mother did well. The guide looked out for her, the office was available for extra training to make her feel good, and the tour didn't go too fast. We had a blast and I am highly recommending it to everyone.

We had 5 hours in DC before having to be in Baltimore for a trade show for work. We decided to try the segway tour to maximize what we saw on the short time that we had. We had an amazing time! Our instructor, Antonio, was THE BEST! He was fun, informative, and funny. He made the tour even better by hits nuggets of wisdom. Every time I come back to the DC area I will take the tour and look for other Segway tours in other towns. I travel about 1 week out of each month and have been to 12 other major US cities this year alone, but I have never had so much fun as a tourist. Thank you for giving us a great tour of DC! I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see DC in a new and exciting way. I had such a blast on the Segway's and the tour guides were great. I was a little nervouse the first time stepping on the Segway and my friends got a big kick out of me being scared (well you know) less. But once I got the hang of it, it seemed almost natural. Just don't be scared of it and don't get cocky on it and you will be just fine. I was doing the max speed possible at certain times and it was a lot of fun. I would do it again in a heart beat. Anybody can do this, so don't be afraid to try it. It is pretty scarry the first time you get on, but I guarantee you, it will be a blast!!! Wendy

If Segway isn't on your to do list....be sure to add it right away. What a way to see the sights of our Nation's Capitol. The tour allowed us a chance to hit the highlights and following the tour we were able to go back and visit at length the incredible history of our country. The guide was great, the equipment perfect and it couldn't have been easier to learn and go. Book a tour, you won't regret it!!!!!

We loved the Segways and got used to using them quickly. It was great fun seeing the sights. we had the evening tour, the night was beautiful and hardly anybody was around. We enjoyed every minute of it and certainly would consider segging again.
