See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

If Segway isn't on your to do list....be sure to add it right away. What a way to see the sights of our Nation's Capitol. The tour allowed us a chance to hit the highlights and following the tour we were able to go back and visit at length the incredible history of our country. The guide was great, the equipment perfect and it couldn't have been easier to learn and go. Book a tour, you won't regret it!!!!!

We loved the Segways and got used to using them quickly. It was great fun seeing the sights. we had the evening tour, the night was beautiful and hardly anybody was around. We enjoyed every minute of it and certainly would consider segging again.

This is a great way to see the major sights in Washington DC and have fun riding a new generation Segway at the same time. Booking the tour is easy; instruction and practice for safe riding is provided before the tour starts; and the tour guides are friendly and always there to help. There are age and weight limits, so check before you go.

We saw the Segways zip by us as we walked around the Capital building right when we got to DC. We were trying to figure out what to do the next day and were realizing how spread out the sights are in this city, so the tour looked like the perfect intro to the nation's capital. It turns out it was the highlight of our visit. The tour guides had interesting info and stories about the places we went, and the ride itself was a blast. Because you are on your own wheels, you get the time to take photos if you want and to explore the general area as you go, instead of being trapped in a bus that moves on when the tour guide or traffic dictates. Learning to ride the Segway was easy thanks to the tour guide's clear instructions and individualized demonstration. Anybody can learn to ride a Segway, and within no time it's just a matter of thinking where you want to go, and you just go. We saw much more than we would have by walking, and it was a great overview of what there is to do in DC. I would highly recommend the Capital Segway tour to anyone heading to DC.

I thought my husband and I would have fun on the segway tour but boy did I underestimate just how much fun we would have. It was a BLAST! The tour guides were fun and very knowledgeable. The Segways were top of the line and easy to master. It was so much fun that from now on, we are going to see if there are any segway tours on every future vacation. We are seriously considering purchasing some for ourselves so that we will always have access to the fun and convience the segway has to offer. If your not afraid to have a good time then a Capitol Segway tour is a must!

This tour was fabulous!! I had never ridden a Segway before, had always been curious, and decided that a Segway tour would be the best way to kill two birds with one stone. I can not recommend this tour more! Riding the Segways was very fun and the instructors were very pleasant. The tour itself was a little flimsy, but it was sufficient. I think everyone on the tour was way more interested in ziping around on the Segway's than listening to a history lecture on Washington, DC anyway. On the other hand, we were able to really get the lay of the land traveling throughout the city as efficiently as one might in a car, but with the ability to move in and out of tourist zones like pedestrians. Basically this tour is awesome, the Segways are super fun, you have the opportunity to check out most of DC (the main tourist drags anyway) and I think everyone in my group was more than satisfied with the experience.

This is a great way to tour Washington, DC. We took the 6:30 pm tour. So we had the chance to view the city as the sun was setting and lights coming on. Training on the Segway was just the right amount of time. The tour went to interesting places. The guide was well informed and presented the material well. A really memorable evening. "Must do" for everyone who comes to the city.

Riding the Segway is like a cross between horseback riding, skiing, and riding a broomstick. It brought back the sensation of the first time I learned to ride a bicycle.

We had a great time. Our guides were wonderful fonts of knowledge of DC and it's history. I highly recommend this for your first day in DC. It's a great place to start. The machines are FUN and easy to use.

Whenever we get together with our adult children, we try to plan some kind of adventure. This Segway tour was one of the most fun things I've ever done. The machines were so easy to manuver; the tour guides were excellent; and on the Segways we were able to get so close to the White House, Capital, and monuments. I have already told numerous people about it and encouraged them to do it when they are in the D.C. area or make a special trip there to do it. Thank you for giving our whole family such a neat experience and for doing your jobs so professionally.
