| I took my out-of-towner parents who are in their mid-50's on the tour. They were anxious before the tour, but since haven't been able to stop talking about how much fun they had.
I had recently taken a Segway tour through a competitor (City Segway) and thought both were of similar quality. I'd give them both top-ratings. Some differences for those of you trying to make a decision:
- City's tour was 3 hours; Capital's was 2 hours. (By hour 2, you are starting to get a little tired...)
- Both routes were basically the same, with City giving more time to "play" in front of some of the attractions.
- City breaks tours into smaller groups (6ish) instead of the 12 or so on the Capital tour
- On the City tour, you gather around the guide to hear the commentary. On Capital, you have an earpiece, so you can hear the commentary while moving around.
- City starts you out at reduced speed, not giving you full power till maybe 30 minutes in. Capital has full-speed throughout. |

| I did a segway tour a few years back and this far surpassed it! Quick and easy check in and orientation. Tour covered pertinent sites and was more on the periphery of the city vs clustered among a lot of peds. James provided relevant details but didn't drone on yet was willing to answer if asked. Highly recommended!! |

| 3 of us, my son and his wife and I, were the only members of our tour group so we had a personalized tour. We had never riden segways before, but learning is easy and in just a few minutes were were able to steer our way through the DC sidewalks. Our tour guide, a young lady who's name I unfortunately forget, was great--informative and friendly. |

| I thoroughly enjoyed the Segway tour. The segway was simple to ride and the tour guides were very knowledgeable about attractions in the city. I highly recommend this exciting and fun tour. |

| The training gave you confidence.
The tour guide was very informative and gave you time to experience your segway.
The tour covered most of the highlights of DC.
It was an experience you didn't want to end.
I would highly recommend it and would do it again the next time I visit DC. |

| It was a great adventure for 2 adults in their 50's. Great tour, good instructor, beautiful scenery and just so much fun. We had plenty of time for photo ops and in the evening the sidewalks weren't as crowded. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone going to DC it was a highlight of our trip. |

| we really enjoyed the segway tour - the weather was perfect, our guide - Will - was very patient and knowledgable and was extremely careful and concerned about our safety. we live in nearby bethesda and have been to dc many times, but this was so much fun - we were 2 adults and 3 teenagers - they want to do it again - i would highly recommend it - great experience - debbie senker |
