Excellent all around the best way to see DC

I looked into other Segway tours for DC and decided on this one because of the new generation of Segways and the tour was only two hours. Erica was a FANTASTIC tour guide. I would also recommend the evening tour. I would consider taking the same tour when in DC again because it was that much fun.

Our daughter couldn't wait until she was old enough to ride a Segway. We took her on her 16th birthday and we all had a blast. My husband is trying to find an excuse to go back and ride again. Well worth the investment!!

tour guides were friendly, had some good information about the sights, and didn't treat you like children or idiots and allowed you to actually use the Segways at your discretion and skill level.

I went with my 15 yr old niece who was getting tired walking up and down the National Mall. It is quite spread out. The Segway is a great way to see the sites. It is a lot of fun, and there are many great picture opportunities.

If you aren't sure where things are in D.C., this is the first tour you should do and worth the money because it hits all the major spots and gives you an idea of what you may want to do on the following days of your visit. Although at first a bit unnatural, you get the hang of it quickly. There are other tours with Segway's but they are too long to be on your feet for that much time, two hours is plenty of time to be on the Segway. Also the other Segway companies don't have the most current one's available. Our tour guides were patient and willing to answer as many questions you could think of.

We saw a lot of the monuments and were able to pause for pix...brief moments of viewing...etc. The safety instruction and practice on the machines was very good, and we felt comfortable by the time the group headed out. I'd reccommend it to anyone.

if you want a brief run through of the capital this is the way to do it. after this tour i was able to weed out the places i actually wanted to visit.

My girlfriend and I had such an an amazing time on the Segway tour! Yeah, it looks kinda silly but it is easily the most fun I have had in a long time. The tour guides were extremely friendly and informative and made sure we were all having a great time. Don't miss this tour!!!

This tour is a fun overview of the DC sights and buildings. It is a good introduction to the area layout, and provides some good leads on what to see more of on foot. The Segway itself is a blast to ride, and the new models with the tiller steering are very easy to control.

this was the most enjoyable,fun tour we took while in d.c. it took us 5 minutes to master the segway and off we went.our tour guide was very knowledgeable and very entertaining! there is only on thing.....my wife now wants a segwat x2! great job by the whole staff at capital segway!
