See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

The Segway tour is the first thing we did in D.C. Having never been before I was looking forward to using the tour as a way to get to know the layout of the city. It fit the bill perfectly. After the two hour tour I knew exactly where everything was. So it served a purpose, but it was also a lot of fun. Will, our guide, did a fine job teaching the ins and outs of Segway operation and kept us informed of the basic tourist info at each of the stops. Segways are a blast to operate and are a lot faster (and less tiring) than walking. Thus, they're ideal for a place like D.C. where there is a lot of ground to cover between the monuments and the musems. So a Segway tour is perfect whether you have a lot to see or just want to have fun doing what you'd normally do on foot.

The tour was amazing. It was a great way to see Washington. The segways are so easy to operate and a lot of fun. The best part of the trip!

So much fun. Relaxing and exciting at the same time. They will accomodate you whether you want to go fast or slow.

My husband and I really enjoyed our Segway tour. It was a really hot day and being able to travel at speeds of up to 12.5 MPH felt great! It was a truly enjoyable way to experience Washington. The guides were extremely knowledgeable and kept the tour exciting. It is definitely something you should do!

I did a segway tour in San Francisco last year, so I decided to give it a try again on my trip to DC. The training was quick and easy, the instructor was great - just the right amount of information about the city mixed with some dry humor. The pace was perfect. The great thing about this one versus San Francisco is the wireless earpiece - it made everything much easier. Also, the guide to participant ratio was excellent - they don't do more than 8 people to a guide. This is a must-do for teens through seniors. I would highly recommend this company to anyone!!

We had never used a Segway before and were surprised at how much fun it was. Our guide spent a good amount of time going over the features and having us practice. By the time we started out on the tour, we were comfortable on the Segway and had a great time riding on it. The tour itself was great . We loved the whole thing and would definitely recommend it!

This was a very fun activity. You kind of feel like a kid again riding on the segways and the scenery combined with the historical commentary was excellent. To visitors of the area I would suggest taking the segway tour on the first day of your trip, because the information provided along the tour really helps you have an idea of what else you'd like to see while on your visit.

This tour was superb. The staff was a bit late getting started, but proved to be outstanding. Their instruction was personalized and expert. They had everyone, even older folks and some not so bright folks, up and running within 15-20 minutes. Our guides, Adam and Noah were superb. Their knowledge of D.C. and of all of the buildings and local lore was first rate. They ensured safety of everyone in the group but left ample freedom for better riders to move about a bit on their own. The equipment was all first rate, including helments and earpieces for walkie talkie from the guides. Would do again, and use these guys over the other similar Segway tours in D.C.

A really enjoyable experience! The equipment is new, and the staff are very knowledgeable and friendly. The only way to see DC!
