| We both though the tour was very good. We would have like the opportunuty to get off at some point. It is a lot of standing.
The most dificult part of learnng the Segway is going up the sidewalk handicap ramps. We both though better training and practice to get across the street was needed.
The Segways were a lot of fun. The tour part was limited to short stops here and there did not give much time for discriptions or stories. We thought if the tour guide a handfree radio and we all had receivers in our helmets it would have made the tour better.
We both enjoyed it and might do it again in another city if we had the chance. |

| My 18 yr old daughter, my wife and I took a morning tour in July '08 and had a blast. The staff had us riding in 5 minutes and took us all over downtown. My daughter had a great time, my wife loved it and I didn't want to give it back when our time was up. We'll definately do this again. |

| We took the night tour. The Segways were so fun and easy to use. We zipped through the city. Our 16 year-old daughter had a blast! We highly recommend this tour. |

| We loved the Segway tour. The guides were very friendly and gave time to practice. We loved the wide open areas and the fact the Segways would go pretty fast. We were skeptical about the money at first, but it was well worth two hours on the Segway. I would highly recommend this to my firends and family. |

| My Wife and I took the 3:30 afternoon tour. Our guides (Aaron & Noah) were really nice and patient guiding us through the "gettiing to know your Segway" portion of the tour. My Wife was a little apprehensive at first although I assured her with her athleticism she would be gliding in no time, and she was!
One precautionary word, if you can't pat your foot in time to music or feel you have no coordination the bus tour might be the better choice. To fully enjoy the experience, and reduce stress instead of stressing out on vacation you need to be alert, aware and ready to go when asked. The Segway does require negotiating through pedestrian traffic and across busy intersections that give you between 20 and 60 seconds to cross. There is PLENTY of time to make the required crossings just not enough time to be timid.
That being said, the Captial Segway Tour was our favorite part of the touring of Washington. You save literally thousands of steps, hours of walking and almost everyone you pass is interested cause it is so cool!
Our only disappointment on the tour was the National Park Authority will not allow Segways in the National Park area (considering this a motorized vehicle) so the tour did not include the Monuments (Lincoln, Jefferson...etc) we did go by the Washington Monument and viewed it from it's base. So go to the monuments one day and the Segway tour another. I felt the price was very reasonable for the fun we had.
My personal disappointment was when I had to give my Segway back, it was really addictive! Capital Segway is a Segway dealer and now I am going to start saving for one. |

| I really didn't know riding a segway would be so easy and fun. The ride itself is a blast, and the tour was an especially great way for our visiting friends to see the city. Would do it again in a minute. |

| My fiance and I thought this was the best part of our trip to DC. The segways are a blast and in a city that requires a lot of walking, it helped save our feet which were sore from the 4 miles we walked the day before. The two guys that ran the tour were great, and actually knew stuff about what we were looking at, so that was cool too. Again, the segways are super fun! |

| You could easily do this kind of DC tour much cheaper on a rented bike. But riding the Segway is most of the fun and is worth the money. You start out kind of shaky on the Segway, but you end up "trusting the machine." Guides take good care of you. Not the most informative tour, but who cares? Your too busy 'skiing' on the Segway. |

| So much fun and the evening tour was the best. Cooler weather, the monuments were lit and beautiful, and the sidewalks were cleared of the usual pedestrian traffic.
The Segway was easy to ride an Aaron gave a great tour. |
