| We did it to try the segway. Riding the segway was a lot of fun. The experienced was enhanced by touring the Mall in DC |

| Very informative. Our leaders were a lot of fun. It helped that the 15 people in our group all seemed to be experienced. My only negative comment was that for the last 15 minutes or so, it seemed like a race back to the office, with very little info given out by Will and Noah. Otherwise, a lot of fun. |

| First, the tour was well-organized and thorough. Steve & Aron at Capital Segway were awesome. They were extremely helpful, flexible, and fun. Everyone had a great time. Our guides had a good knowledge of many sights around DC---which made it that much more enjoyable. I recommend this tour to any individuals or groups that want to have an easier and more enthusiastic experience than a regular, old bus. It is a blast! |

| My nephew and I had a blast! At the end of the tour we both didn't want to get off our segways...we would highly recommend trying this activity. |

| Get it?
We took the Segway tour, not as a way to learn about DC, but rather as a chance to play around on Segway devices. I feel like the tour guide felt that way also. He didn't have anything particularly insightful to say about the city, but that was fine. We rode around and he gave us the 30 second story about the stops we made and his personal opinions of them. Bystanders were in awe as we zoomed around on our futuristic people movers. It was loads of fun. The price was fair too, as I feel like we definitely got our money worth. If you've been to DC bunches of times or have never been at all, this tour is a great way to see the city in a different way. |

| We thought the Segway tour was awesome. Handling the machines became second nature after the short instruction period. Our 16 year old son loved it. He didn't even mind seeing all of the museums, the Capitol and the White House. We covered more ground, and had more fun doing it, than if we walked. We would highly recommend this tour. |

| I took my teenage children (16 abd 18) on the 2 hr Washington DC Segway tour and it was a great way to see the sights around the mall.... and have fun doing it! Once you get the feel of the Segway, which doesn't take long, it was a blast! I'm surprised someone hasn't souped up one of these babies and started a Segway X- games....
Within your comfort range, you can ride more or less "conservatively", but I never felt unsafe. The guides were great , as well. I'd buy one for myself, until they told me they go for around 5 grand..... |

| We opted to our own tour guide of DC, which allowed us to get off and back on our Segways, while still seeing the sights in depth. (We went into 2 of the Smithsonian Museums.)
It turned out to be a wonderful idea, first of all, we departed with a regular group, with our tour guide in tow with us. And then when it made sense the tour guide and us, split off, to see some other things. The original group, had 2 tour guides with them, that way, one could lead, the other road last in the group to make sure everyone was fine at all times. He also stood on his segway at intersections to make sure that we went with the traffic lights, and he protected us from unruly car drivers.
All three tour guides were very knowledgeable about the area and the sights we saw.
The Segways were fun, well maintained, the the tour guides were always watching out for us, and for traffic.
If you enjoy receiving special service, TAKE THIS WONDERFUL TOUR!!!!!!
I would do it again, in a heart beat. (and probably will)!!!!
Enjoy,
Joe Rich |
