| Been a regular traveler down to DC for 5 years. This is by far the BEST way to see the city - and all of the city - in a very short period of time. I covered miles that I could not have walked in one day. I did not sweat it out as I would have on a bike - and having biked DC many times - this city is more Segway friendly than it is bike friendly. All that, PLUS it's really FUN ! This is a no brainer....brilliant really. The Segway XT is the coolest toy I've seen in years - gotta get me one of these! |

| Too much fun, I loved it!! It got really chilly so recommend dressing warmly in the winter. But my fun turned not so fun....the Segway lost it's battery so the tour guide left me at the Capital and said he would bring me another machine. This was 4:55pm, so I stood freezing by myself as it was getting later and later. At 5:20pm, nearly dark I called information for their number, thank goodness I had my cell phone. Some of the group members left their bags and purses in the office. Again, thank goodness I didn't and had my belongings with me. So no answer at the office, I left a message in hopes that they would call me back, no luck. So it is now 5:35pm, dark, and very cold. I begin walking trying to hail a cab, no luck. I finally see the Hilton and whatever hotel and have them hail me a cab. I could have taken the metro but I needed to be back at my hotel by 6pm for the evening event at the Crystal City Marriot a $15. cab ride. Although my day ended badly, I hope they will get this info and plan better for this type of situation. I wish they would have returned my call. I left the bike helmet at the hotel if they would like to retrive it. I would be happy to mail them the claim check. Again I loved and can't stop sharing my experience "the good part"! Have a great day. |

| My niece was visiting from Iowa. She had seen DC a number of years ago, but I decided to try this tour. We saw some of the sites in DC as well as some of the architecture. One of the memorials we visited was the Navy memorial. This was especially meaningful as my Dad, her grandfather, served in the Navy in WWII.
Riding the segways was the highlight of her visit! Everyone she told about the trip was introduced to the Segway experience. It was great. Good experience for us both. |

| I had a great time! I was amazed at how quickly I became comfortable with the Segway machine. I wasn't so much interested in the tour but rather in getting to operate the Segway in and around the Mall area. Now if I could just have used the red key. |

| Signed up the night before for a tour. The next day got a call apologizing that they had no guide avaliable. After hearing that this was my only free night in DC. The owner said I could have the segway at the same time and just go on my own and that he would come back to the store and check me back in after my ride. That was awesome service. I had already seen the some of the sights..really just wanted to try out a segway so it worked out perfect for me. |

| I enjoyed the tour very much. However i would like to comment on a couple of things.
I think it would be more beneficial if the office was in a location that was a little quieter, not off a busy road. Once we had established our training we then had to go on to a busy sidewalk and tackle crossing the road. I found this very unnerving.
The other comment i would like to make is that whilst i enjoyed the tour i discovered later that we had not actually seen the majority of the places i would like to have seen. I understand that this was perhaps because we are not allowed to go into certain areas however i felt that really we were taken around a tour of the buildings of washington and not of the key areas (for me) such as Abraham Lincoln memorial, Rosevelt memorial, the reflecting pool, vietnam memorial etc. I think for the price of the tour we would have benefitted from having an hour extra to walk around these places if the segways are not allowed.
Having said that, it was certainly an experience that I enjoyed thoroughly as i can impress everyone in england that i have been on a segway.
Thanks

| I thoroughly enjoyed being on the Segway and it is a GREAT way to see the city. Our tour guide (the red haired gentlemen) was very knowledgable about the city and things to see and do. A better script and doing a better way to present the information would have been better. The second gentlemen with us (shorts t shirts and flip flops...) knew little to nothing about buildings and did not point out key points of interests...
I felt that there was a looseness and 'do what you want on the tour...' instead of really giving an indepth tour. I feel you could charge (a little) more if your appearance and demeanor in the streets was more professional and indepth in the tour. You are knowledgable about the Segways just feel you need work in presentation. The gentlen in the store dressed in a Segway gold shirt and pants looked professional. Our tour guides really did not. I feel I missed a lot of what Washington DC had to offer because nothing was really explained or shown ESPECIALLY on the way back from the Capital.
Several people of our tour (one gentlemen in particular) seemed like they were more into the Segway and doing what they weren't supposed to do then taking a tour. This was a distraction at the times when explanations were being made of key sites. This was too bad and diminished the experience.

| There was very bad weather on my scheduled day, bu the company manager halped me find a guide that would come in in the morning to take me on an unscheduled tour which turned out to be a great experience. I tipped Will (my tour guide from Capital Segway) generously and would recommend this to anyone who wants to see a lot in a short time and then have their bearings for some self guided excursions of their own.
Great Experience! Great Company! Great City!

| The Segway instruction was excellent and made the ride easy. It's a great way to cover a lot of ground relatively quickly. I had no problems with other pedestrians, the Segway is very maneuverable.
Our guide was very good and knowledgeable. I would have liked a longer tour, the tour was informative and a lot of fun! |
