| We loved the Segway tour of DC. The people running Capital Segway were delightful and couldn't have been more helpful to insure a fun experience. Segway's are so much fun to ride that I wasn't sure if the tour was so fun or just riding. After our ride we recommended it to our group and another 25 people went the following 3 days. |

| The tour was awesome! Our guides were very knowledgable and the Segways were fun to ride. Our group was a little apprehensive at first but after a few minutes we became experts on the Segways and were zipping around with ease. We covered a lot of ground and had a blast wheeling about DC. The lowly bipeds (common pedestrians) showered us with questions and they were envious of our ride. Capital Segway was great and allowed us to explore and play around on the Segways during the tour which was a big part of the fun. They were very helpful and went out of their way to take group pictures and answer questions. We cannot wait for another Segway tour! |

| My friend and I planned a Segway tour as the first thing we were going to do in DC. Our thought was that the Segway tour would give us the highlights of the City and we could better plan what attractions we wanted to go back and spend more time visiting over the next several days of our trip. Great plan, but unfortunately, we missed our 6:25 a.m. flight to DC, so we were unable to get there in time for our 3:00 p.m. reservation. We called and they were great about rescheduling us to the next day. Our Segway Tour guide was Adam and he was great. First, he showed us a video which will scare the pants off you about how you can get injured if you act like a hotdog on a Segway. Then we received individual specific instructions on how to operate the Segway. I was intimidated by the video and that little stick figure guy who kept falling and breaking his back and legs and busting his head so I listened carefully to Adam and followed his instructions to the letter. Then we got on the Segway and went across the street to a spacious park to practice before getting on the sidewalk or in the street. It's really a lot easier than it looks and it feels wonderful to be Segwaying along while other mere mortals are walking. Adam took us to see most of the highlights in DC, but the most impressive was when we went to the White House. Adam's commentary on the sights we were seeing was educational and fun, too, but sometimes a little corny. Need to upgrade those jokes, Adam! But he was so cute, we didn't mind. My friend and I had a great time and it's the perfect way to get to know the City. By the way, after visiting several European cities in past years, I'm proud to say our capitol city is the friendliest, safest and most accommodating city I've ever visited. I'd recommend a DC visit to anyone and the best way to get a flavor of the City is on a Segway! |

| Nick did a great job getting us around DC with great fun. He gave us the regular tourist information with a lot of fun facts thrown in. I will definitely recommend a Segway tour for every town. |

| The tour was terrific. It was a sunny afternoon so it was perfect to get around. Took my nephew out for his birthday and he thoroughly enjoyed it. I think he wants one. |

| Definitely a great, new experience and a lot of fun. Our tour guides were full of info and funny which made the experience that much better. The best part was at the very end of the tour when they let us "play" on the segway in an empty parking lot.
Was a little weary riding that thing through the streets of DC, but felt like a pro after about 10 minutes. |

| A group of us come to DC to run the Marine Corps Marathon each October. We arrive three days early to tour the sites and restaurants. In 2008 we signed up for the evening tour of DC - it was so much fun when we returned in 2009 we signed up for the same tour.
We found the evening tour to be very enjoyable. Hardly any foot traffic and very little vehicle traffic. This made for it being easy to maneuver the streets and to enjoy the ride without having to worry about being hit (or hitting someone).
What we learned in research: There is a competitive company to Capitol Segway, but we learned their segway units have a governor on them and this limits the fun. Segways are safe. If one has ever rode a bicycle (even if it was 40 years ago), you can be up and riding a segway in 4 minutes of practice - and you do get to practice with a trainer until you are ready (they don't want problems on the tour, so you aren't going until you are ready).
We learned with the 2009 tour, when a group signs up they can outline their own tour, and next year we will do a tour of Georgetown.
Our time schedule: We sit to eat dinner at Old Ebbitt's Grill (one of our favorite - make sure you make reservations a month in advance) two hours in advance, than walk three blocks to Segway. Before Old Ebbitt we did the Washington Monument this year, and a tour of the B&O Canal the prior year. The timing works out perfectly to enjoy Segway. And of course after the tour we walk a few blocks back to Old Ebbitt for dessert and drinks. |

| Segway provides a great way to see a lot of Washinton D.C. in just a few hours. The tour guide gives you a lot of information that you would not get by touring along. The Segway is a fun transportation device that exceeds expectations. Save your legs - Segway! |
