The tour was a highlight of our trip

The Segway tour was definitely one of the highligts of our trip to DC and we would do it again the next time we're in town. Riding the Segway was a bit of a challenge for the first 10 minutes, but once you got the hang of it, it was smooth sailing from there and you were zipping around everywhere! It makes you want one! Thank you for providing us with a wonderful experience and memory of our weekend. We would recommend this to everyone!!

This was the first time I have ever been on a Segway and it was awsume. The experience is one that everyone should try. It was great seeing the city and having fun at the same time. The staff was excellent and took the time to work with all of us. Again, I recommend this to anyone who wants an afternoon of fun.

We were in town for a convention and had to make sure we saw D.C. on a tight schedule. Capital Segways has the greatest night tour and Evan was SO amazing to our group. It's so quick to learn how to ride them for the two that had never done it and I'd done it once before and it was like riding a bike. The sites were great and we got tons of great night shots that turned out just beautiful. Evan was patient and let us take as many pics as we wanted and he even took some of us too. (not a bad photographer either!) Zerve was super easy to book the tickets and even was easy to reschedule (don't forget to show up 20 minutes before). I was impressed with everything about the tour and the service from booking to the tour itself. I'd do it again in a heartbeat! Thank you for a very memorable experience. Segways are the coolest!

Miles of Smiles

Our group of four had a fantastic time on the Segway tour of the Capitol. After a few minutes getting oriented on the use of this marvelous mode of transport, our guide Scott, treated us to a two plus hour adventure that was the highlight of our 16 day vacation that took us to Washington DC, NYC, & Boston. Although our wives were initially a little skeptical, but after having such a great time in DC, they were both hoping we could find Segway tours in Manhatten and Boston. Unfortunately, that was not to be. Our tour took us by the White House (where we coincidentally witnessed the arrival of the President on the south lawn in Marine One), the Capitol, Washington Monument, the Supreme Court, and numerous other points of interest. We even took a short side trip to the Masonic Temple described in Dan Brown's most recent novel, "The Lost Symbol". This is great way to get oriented for a stay in the Capitol, and if you have limited time, you can cover a lot of territory in a short amount of time. It was a real blast zipping along the streets and thoroughfares--my wife is still smiling from the experience. We expect to Segway again when we return to Washington or wherever we can find a tour available. Don't miss the Segway experience! It is great fun. PO -- Bakersfield, CA

We thoroughly enjoyed the ride. The guide, Chris, was knowledgeable and very willing to share information with us. We have already recommended this adventure to our friends locally. Our only disappointment was that our ride was canceled because of predicted high winds, which did not materialize, and rescheduled for the end of the week. By that time we had already seen most of the stops many times over. However, just being able to ride the segways was great. When we come back we are hopeful there will be another segway route which will give us another opportunity for a fantastic adventure. Thanks

Segway Tour of D.C.

My friends and I enjoyed our recent Segway Tour of Washington, D.C. Partly because there were some interesting facts and stories about some of the sites we visited on our Segways, partly because we never would have been able to cover the 7 miles in only two hours if we had been walking, and partly because it was just so much fun experiencing Segways for the first time. They fast became very intiutive to operate, with no problem learning how. The folks at Capital Segway give you a brief orientation and safety instructions and then take you across the street to a large park to have about 15 minutes to practice and get the feel for operating your segway at full speed. The narrative (using headset radio) was an excellent way to hear about all the sites we visited and some interesting stories about their history. I would recommend this type of tour to anyone in D.C., and will also be on the lookout for similar Segway tours in other cities.

My husband and I and two of our friends recently did the Capital Segway tour and had an absolute blast. It was a perfect mix of historical information and playing on the segways. We learned a lot about DC and at the same time loved trying something new! I only wish it was longer than 2 hours. The segway tour was worth every penny and I would do it again in a heartbeat!
