| Having previously done a bus tour and a "ducks" tour, I wanted to do a walking tour of D.C., but my primary purpose there (business travel) severely limited my time. So, with that in mind - and intrigued by the Segway technology - I signed up for the Segway tour, and found it to be most excellent. My tour guide Maryann (sp?) was knowledgeable and very collegial. The tour covered a number of areas I hadn't previously seen, and the Segway is a perfect way to travel D.C. -- covering a great deal of ground in a short time. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone, and -- since I did the night tour - I will probably try to do a longer day tour on a future trip. |

| My wife, my son and his girlfriend and I took this site seeing trip the Saturday before Thanksgiving. It was a great way to see a lot of sites in a short amount of time. The guides were very helpful in making sure we were all comfortable riding the segway. They also provided nice commentary as we wheeled our way around the capital. If you are in doubt about taking this tour, try it, you will like it. |

| 3 of us are motorcyle safety instructors and own multiple motorcycles, starting out was a humbling experience!
But what a hoot, we will do it again. |

| What a fantastic way to see DC! The tour guides were full of information about what we were looking at and went way overboard on taking pictures for us. We loved the experience. We rate it an A+. It would have been an A+++ if only we could have left the late arriving family who was inconsiderate, non rule following, and trouble making. In other words, if you are not willing to stay with the group and follow the simple rules and safety procedures like wearing your helmet and staying with the group, don't ruin it for everyone else- tour DC like most people and walk. If you can handle playing well with others, definitely take this tour! |

| We toured with the Segway group on Thanksgiving at 1:00. The entire group had 12 people, including a family with 3 young men (late teens/20's). One of the tour guides had injured his hip in a Segway accident earlier in the day, and did nothing but complain about his injury all day. He was in pain, but should either have sought medical attention and left the job, or not complained. His first words to us as we entered the store were about the accident he'd had on his Segway and how he severely injured himself - NOT the words that a customer wants to be greeted with.
The group was simply too large and inexperienced. We wasted a full half hour of our time waiting as newbies learned how to use the Segways in the store.
The young boys on the tour were terribly misbehaving the entire tour. Neither their parents nor the tour guides reined them in, so we wasted a lot of our time waiting for them to stop fooling around. They had three (minor) accidents of their own during the tour.
Another tourist had a serious-looking accident toward the end of the tour, and the previously injured tour guide was clearly more concerned about the hassle this created for him than his was about the fallen tourist. Fortunately for both, no serious damage to person or machine.
The tour itself was a disjointed mish-mash of the two tour guides showing off how much history trivia they knew about obscure people and events, and very little about what we were seeing. The tour was cut short (we didn't go to the Capitol Building) because of the above. The entire event was primarily a Segway ride through city streets with very little in the way of "touring" as we had imagined it, with some comment on the buildings and history of the city.
One machine threw a rider because of a tire failure, and one of the tour guides had to leave the group to walk it back to the store. The other (injured) tour guide then took us back to the store with no stops for information, sight-seeing, or any courtesies.
Very poor treatment of your customers. The major offense was the overly large size of the group. Twelve people, especially one with three delinquent boys and two frustrated guides in it, is simply far too large a group for an enjoyable, productive, worthwhile experience.
I will not be back for more. |

| To spend Thanksgiving day touring DC on a Segway, is, well, AWESOME !!! And the tourguides were fascinating in themselves !!! (they had some rather exciting advenutures with the tour before us - and they were truly admirable and had the greatest human spirit to continue on !!!) Cool ... |

| I had a great time with my parents and 3 of 4 brothers in town for thanksgiving. We went Thanksgiving day with Antonio and Joel as guides. Both very good guides. My only issue would be that in orientation I was told to hold feet close together, whereas as soon as I spread my feet out I had much better balance.
I plan on taking another segway tour. $65 seems expensive, but for 2 hours of fun it's really not that bad. Definitely will go again with visiting family or friends. |

| I appreciated the time that the staff took to help us each get comfortable on the segways, though learning to ride one was much easier than I had anticipated. The tour was a nice balance of informative and tons of fun; a great way to introduce first-time visitors to the Mall. |

| This is the perfect Washington, DC activity for out-of-town houseguests. You get a much better feel for the city than you would from a seat on a tour bus. And, you also become one of the attractions, as lots of people stop to take pictures of your Segway group.
Our tour guide was friendly and informative. Even as a 23 year resident of the Washington area he offered a number of historical tidbits of which I had been unaware.
Capital Segway offers the latest Segway models, capable of speeds up to about 12mph. The machines are easy to use, and can be mastered in less than 30 minutes. By the end of the two hour tour, everyone in our group was riding like a pro. |
