| Four 62 year olds took the Segway tour around DC and it was great fun. The guides were well informed and very professional. I would recommend this tour to folks of all ages. |

| This is so much fun. I recommend this tour to anyone that wants to see everything without doing all the walking. Segways are easy to ride & manuver. It was awesome. Tour guides are well informed. |

| My husband and I are frequent visitors to DC for business, but rarely have a chance to enjoy all the city has to offer. We were looking for something different, and even though we didn't really need another "tour," this was a great way to cover the highlights of DC. The guides were fun and helpful, the ride was fantastic! So easy, it only took a few minutes to get the hang of it and then we were off...we'll do it again next time just because it was so much fun! |

| I live in Richmond and my friend lives in Ohio and we have tried to go to DC about 5 times but every time we go, something happens and he never actually gets to see the city. It has become a running joke. So as a surprise I booked this tour since I knew that he would like the combination of a new "toy" to play with and a tour of DC.
Booking online was easy, although time slots do fill up quickly, especially on the weekends. Because I live in Richmond, we were going to have to drive about 2hrs, so I booked a 9pm tour. I thought that this might be too late and worried that the guide would try to push us through since it was the last tour of the day. However, I had nothing to worry about. In fact the night time tour was actually quite nice. The crowds were minimal to non-existent, which made navigating on the segway much easier, with several points where we could run at full speed. Also, the monuments, museums, White House and Capital are all well lit at night which make for some gorgeous pictures. Another nice thing about the night time tour was the fact that the heat of the day is gone and there is usually a nice breeze.
The Segways were easy to use and once you got used to how to control them they were a lot of fun to ride! The first few minutes are a little nerve racking but that quickly goes away. That said, I don't know that I would recommend these for anyone who can't catch themselves if they fall off balance on solid ground. I partially took this tour as a test run for something to do with my mom who has extensive back problems. It would make me VERY nervous to put her on one of these. We did have a couple of tumbles on our tour, but they were all do to misuse of the Segway rather than a lack of training on the tour guides part. Most of the spills were because of people following another Segway too closely and not being able to stop in time, or from running one of the wheels into something, which will stop a Segway before you even realize whats happening.
The only reason that I gave the tour four stars instead of five is because of issues in scheduling. I booked the 9pm tour and the day before the tour they called to tell me I had to move it to the 6pm time due to weather (even though it says they run rain or shine). After a lot of back and forth calling I moved to the 6pm time only for them to tell me that they might cancel that one too and I should really schedule a Sat time (which was going to make me cancel a previous commitment). Then they called back and said my original time was once again available, but I should still consider a Sat time. In the end I stuck with my original time and called the day of to make sure it was still going on. I was told it was definitely going to run, so my friend and I drove up. We got to the store and found out there was actually still a possibility of canceling even though they didn't tell me that before I made the two hour drive. Thankfully the tour still ran and it went great! |

| The Segway was a lot of fun and the tour was very good. We did not have much time in D.C. So for us this was a great way to see a lot in a short amount of time. |

| Segways are a bit tricky for the first couple minutes, then it's very simple. Staff is helpful and relaxed. One of our best family outings ever. (We have 2 teenagers- they thought it was totally cool) |
