DC Segway Adventure

| This tour was such fun!! The Segway is easy to use, quiet, and gets you up above the others on the sidewalk. The tour leader explained the use of the Segway, important safety practices and was very patient as I hopped up on the Segway for the first time. Within 5 minutes I was wheeling about like a pro and ready to go ... and I am 61 years old and a bit of a klutz !! After a short practice session in a park across the street from the Segway office we began the trek to the White House and the Capitol Mall area. Our leader was very knowledgeable about the sites in the area and shared many little known facts. We were able to go at top speed (12 mph) on Pennsylvania Avenue. I enjoyed talking to other tourists who wanted to know about the Segway. You definitely get a lot of attention as you travel around. By now the Segway felt like a part of my body......responding instantly and smoothly at turns, and when stopping and starting. I felt completely comfortable on the tour. The Segway even had a little storage area where I was able to put my water bottle and my camera for easy access. There was plenty of time to take pictures and our leader willingly took pictures of me on the Segway. I hated to give up my new "friend" when we returned to the Segway office. I'd recommend this tour to anyone !! Enjoy !! |

| Guides were friendly and knowledgable. Occasionally difficult to hear them. Would like to have seen a map of where the tour was planning on going. Overall, it was a blast and well worth the money. |

| These folks were terrific! Great new equipment, quick and secure instruction, and friendly guides that really were interested in knowing you personally (calling us by first name always). They gave us safety-first management for the entire tour group, while presenting just the right amount of historical facts and interesting trivia about Washington. I would highly recommend them. Good value, great pictures, and a highlight experience for my out-of-town guests! |

| I loved the Segway tour of Washington DC. The Segway was very fun to ride and it was a great way to see the city and cover ground faster than walking.
I am already planning the next time I can ride a Segway.
I loved it.
Also, our tour guide Noah was excellent. He wanted us to have fun riding and he gave us great highlights of some of the spots we stopped at. |

| The See the City Segway Tour with Capital Segway was a wonderful, unique and fun way to see some of the major sights of Washington DC. The orientation session was comprehensive and enabled those of us who had never experienced Segway transportation to confidently manage the Segway. Our wonderful tour guide, Noah, provided very interesting commentary as we travelled around the Federal Triangle. He kept a close eye on all members of the group to ensure that everyone was managing and feeling confident. I would recommend the Capital Segway See the City Tour to everyone who prefers NOT to sit on a tour bus! At the completion of our two hour tour we reluctantly handed back our Segways. We can't wait to use a Segway again! |

| We had a great time. The segways are SOOOO much fun and the staff was very helpful. The tour was less than two hours though, which left me a little disappointed. Nonetheless I would recommend this tour to anyone. |

| Noah was an incredible tourguide--there were some obnoxious idiots on our tour, and he handled them perfectly. I can't tell you how much fun my friend and I had--we told all of our friends to sign up! THANK YOU! |

| Our guide was kind, knowledgeable, patient and fun. We learned lots of things my lives-in-DC sibling didn't even know. We definately had lots of "hey, look at that" or "I want to try that" from folks we passed by. My 16 year old son identified this activity as the highlight of our week-long DC trip. I agree with another reviewer that 2 hours is a good timeframe. It was fun-fun-fun but after 2 hours of standing I was beginning to get stiff. |

| I would highly recommend this tour. The tour guide, Karen, was great and this tour was loads of fun. I felt confident in handling the Segway after their short video and walking you through it. This was a very informative tour as well. Thanks for the great time.
