| it was really funny and recommended for people that like something different but you should understand that this is a turistic activity and not everybody speak english perfectly, so it would be perfect if the guide will speak any other language.
I am from Spain and i talk a little bit of english but i almost didn´t understand any explication about the Washington´s monuments.
Anyway, i loved the expirience.
Thank you |

Segways are a great way to see the sights. They become intuitive after a few moments. The guides were great and very informative. I liked the fact that the max speed was not limited and there were no deposits. It cost a bunch but I would do again.

First time on a Segway and it was a lot of fun. Good to have the wireless headsets - not sure all the segway tour companies have them. Probably spent more time playing around on the Segway than looking at sights, but still saw a good few things and picked up some useful local information. Would recommend it to anybody.

My wife & I are local to DC but really enjoyed our tour guides knowledge of DC. Amazing how much we saw in 2 hours.

As a local, I've seen the sights hundreds of times but, on a Segway, they were much more fun to see again. I highly recommend going on the early evening tour when there are less tourists filling up the sidewalks.

This activity was exciting in so many ways. The tour guides provided very thorough training in the beginning and i felt confident that i could control the segway when the tour started. I've seen the national mall many times before, but it was so different on a segway. The guide took us to areas where we could zoom around freely and also helped us navigate more congested areas. He gave good information but didn't talk too much. We had plenty of time to ask questions and take pictures. I would recommend it to friends.

The tourist angle aside, riding the segways was so much fun. The instructors did a great job beforehand letting us get a good feel for them before turning us loose on the streets of D.C. For those of you who may be apprehensive, the segways are incredibly easy to operate. They are very responsive to the operator's movements, and I never had the slightest feeling during the trip that I wasn't in control! The tour guides were humorous and fun and all in all it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. I will definitely recommend it to anyone I know who plans to visit D.C. My only negative feedback is that it was too short. The whole trip was only about an hour and a half of actual riding time and I was expecting at least 2 so that was kind of a letdown. Otherwise, BRAVO!

The tour around DC was really fun; our tour guide was nice. Being a local, I would have been fine not covering so much ground around the city--I would have been just as happy going to a few open areas and just jet around on the Segway.

A great way to move around a city

I loved the tour - using the segway alone was a fantastic experience in itself and doing it in DC made it more enjoyable. The commentary was not that excellent though, the first half was made more interesting by the tour guide's humour. The tour was supposed to be 2 hours, but it was actually only an hour and 15 mins, as half an hour was devoted to practising and we came back quarter of an hour earlier. If it weren't for the fact that it was fun using a segway, I would not recommend this tour to anyone.

My sister and our two husbands had an absolute blast! This was definitely a highlight of our trip to DC and would advise even the timid to go for it! We all quickly got the hang of it and wished we didn't have to give them back when the tour finished! This tour is an outside viewing tour, not an indoor tour of any monuments or musuems you pass by, but that's the fun in it - riding!!!! And there was always a guide at the lead and another at the rear of the group to assist in any way. A big plus is that each bike has a zippered pouch on the handle bar to store your purse, camera, or other item - very convenient! Give your feet a break - it sure beats walking DC! Make it a 'Bucket List' experience - a must do on your trip to DC!
