| I highly recommend Capital Segway! I live in DC and had my sister and mother visiting. I wanted to show them around without using those big tour buses or walking all day long. Our tour guide was great and the Segways were so much fun to ride. This is the best way to tour DC, period! |

| A group of coworkers and I are on temporary assignment to Washington DC from different parts of the country. We are staying in a location that enables us to walk to and from work every day, which is how we first spotted the Segways. We had all heard of them before but never seen them up close nor had the opportunity to operate them. We booked a tour (very easy, no confusing processes, etc.) and we were completely thrilled with the experience. Two hours is a great tour length and gives one plenty of time to get comfortable and enjoy riding the Segway. We are all here for another six weeks and plan on doing this at least once more, if not twice! The price seems a little expensive at first, especially if you're paying for a whole family, but it is worth every penny!! The tour guides (ask for Adam) were knowledgeable and personable, which makes a big difference. I cannot think of any reason not to try this!! And, it looks harder than it is...at first you will be a little wobbly, and unsure of yourself on it. But, after a little while, it becomes an "extension" of you and starts to feel very natural. You will not be disappointed!! |

| I may be somewhat biased here, but I've been ( along with my 25 year old son) on a couple of Segway tours before, and I love riding these machines! They are the most fun I could imagine, and safe to ride plus extremely maneuverable. The tour was excellent, showed several prominent spots in DC, and was fun to be in a situation that was not overly controlled or restricted... I would highly recommend this activity for any fun loving person...! |

| The Segway tour of the DC Capital buildings was the right way to see all the monuments of DC. The Segways performed flawlessly, and the size of the group was ideal -- about a dozen or so.
The guides were great at the logistics of threading the group through flocks of tourists and between clumps of traffic.
However, as a tour of the monuments of the capital, the trip had some shortcomings. It was difficult to hear the guides because they had no amplification or speakers. With the traffic & tourist noises all around, you frequently couldn't hear their patter.
The dialog was delivered with that '13th time today' lassitude that guides get after months of spewing the same patter with little variation. They were perfunctory, but not excited by the seeting or the history surrounding them.
I'd still recommend the tour, especially if you haven't been on a Segway, and if you have the chance to follow up on the buildings of specific interest to you. |

| My wife and I did the evening tour and thoroughly loved it! The monuments at night are completely different than in the day - the sidewalks are not crowded and you can zip along at top speed - our guide was full of great information and humor - and our whole group had a great time. Going up to the Capitol and White House at night was really nice. The segways were surprisingly easy to learn how to use - within 5 minutes, it was so intuitive that one didn't even have to think about how to drive it - it went where we wanted it to go. Highly recommended for both visitors to the city and for residents as well - it's a very different way to see the sights. Thanks much!! |

| This was a very enjoyable activity. The tour was well done and entertaining and the addition of the novelty and downright fun of riding the Segway(s) made it one of the highlights of the trip. |

| This really was a worthwhile activity! The staff were really really great, and the tour itself was so much fun.
You're really able to go at your own speed, and beyond a helmet and a very good safety talk you are not babysat and your safety and the speed you go at is up to you. I really liked this.
Loads of fun, I'd recommend it to anyone! |
