The tour was awesome! Our guides were very knowledgable and the Segways were fun to ride. Our group was a little apprehensive at first but after a few minutes we became experts on the Segways and were zipping around with ease. We covered a lot of ground and had a blast wheeling about DC. The lowly bipeds (common pedestrians) showered us with questions and they were envious of our ride. Capital Segway was great and allowed us to explore and play around on the Segways during the tour which was a big part of the fun. They were very helpful and went out of their way to take group pictures and answer questions. We cannot wait for another Segway tour!

I put this together for family visiting from out of town. I expected it to be a goofy but entertaining experience. What we got was great fun, a lot of interesting information and friendly guides. I will do this again and highly recommend it to others.

The tour was really fun and exciting. The segway machine gets a little getting used to at first but then its a blast. The tour guides were great and very patient and had extreme knowledge of the area. Overall, it was a very satisfying experience. Thumbs up, everyone should give it a go. You get to see the majority of the hot spots which comprises DC and its history. And the best part is, it’s a walking tour without the walking!

My wife and I had to reschedule this tour several times but are so glad it worked out when it did. The weather was awesome and the tour was excellent. I though the guides were enthusiastic and did a good job of teaching the group. I'd say for me the first 20 minutes was just getting use to riding the segway and I didn't really pay that much attention to the tour part but after I got settled in then I really started enjoying listening to the tour guide. Everyone in the group handled the segways well except for my wife who had a few issues at first getting it to go uphills but by half way through she was riding like a pro. Would do one again anytime.

| It beats walking around the different monuments and buildings. We were able to see a lot in a short amount of time. It's efficient. It's not tiring. It's fun.
If there is one thing I would add it's the Lincoln Memorial.
I would highly recommend this to anyone. |

I recommend this to anyone interested in the Segway. Even in a cool misty rain it was enjoyable with a unique perspective of DC. Well worth it.

It was cold, rainy and this husband, wife and 16 year old daughter, who rarely agree on what constitutes a good time, did agree that this did not look promising. After the brief, but adequate training, we and our group of 8 or so others were out the door and onto the wet, Washington streets. Our two guide/shepherds were very nice, fun and armed with much Washington trivia that was shared with us via radio receivers that each person wore. As our skills quickly improved and the weather dried out, we really began to have fun! Zooming around so effortlessly and quickly is something that has to be experienced to even begin to be appreciated. After our tour was completed, and our Segways returned to their places, we left the store and strolled away down the sidewalk. In a very short time it became painfully apparent: WALKING JUST SUCKS! When the astronauts on the International Space Station and the NASA Space Shuttles talk about the joy of living in weightlessness, I bet that riding a Segway is, in some very small way, the same sort of joyous experience. At least these three participants can agree on that.

Having wanted to try a Segway, I figured this was the best way to do and I was correct! There are numerous opportunities to play around with it while seeing the sights of DC and getting some photo ops. For anyone nervous about riding the Segway, I would say don't sweat it. You figure it out rather quickly and the DC terrain is rather benign.

This was one of the best parts of our trip. I want a segway now. My girlfriend loved it too. I thought it looked lame but after trying it I can not give it a good enough review. Do it! You will not be dissapointed.

The Combination of seeing DC and riding the Segway was a thrill, I would enjoy a 3 hour tour that could take you to the Lincoln and Jefferson Memorial as well
