| We chose Capital Segway mainly because they were the only ones that could accomodate our son in their "rickshaw" that trailed behind the guide's Segway. After the short training session we headed to see the sites. Our group was small but you still only proceed as fast as the slowest rider. Navigating the sidewalks was effortless and you really appreciate these things when going up hill. Our guide was expert with the Segway but a little new with the history and info part of Washington. Maybe other guides would talk more but the main reason we did this was for the Segway experience (we had taken a 6 hr tour bus ride the day before to get the history of the area) We spent a full 2 hours on the units and had a great time! | Initially the concept of the segway was intimidating, but the short safety video and some practice time in the shop and at the park was surprisingly enough to get our group on our way! …and our guide Scott was great, lots of patience and confidence in us!
I was also impressed that we all wore the headsets that allowed us to clearly hear all the facts about the buildings and the areas along the way. I would recommend this tour to anyone and I will specifically look for the same type of tour in any city I visit. |

| Although the tour is described as 2 to 2.5 hours long we started at 6.30 & were back at the shop by 8.05 - and that includes the bit of training we had in the shop!
Although I enjoyed riding the segway, as I'd already riden one before I was disappointed not to see more of Washington and have the full 2 hours.
I'd not recommend this particular company and would go else where next time. |

| The tour was relaxing and casual, with more than enough information from the guides. Traveling on the Segway was a unique and fun way to cover the distances between landmarks quickly. We were also very fortunate to have ideal weather, and our tour was during the evening, which added a nice touch. We both had a blast, and highly recommend this as a great alternative to boring bus or walking tours. |

| We had a great time on the Segways. Yes, we did see the DC area but mainly we had fun on the Segways. The 5 minute training was short...it took a bit more than 5 minutes for most people to REALLY "get" how they work. Don't expect to get tons of information on this tour...you are mainly out there seeing the sights and enjoying the segway. |

| Very informative. Our leaders were a lot of fun. It helped that the 15 people in our group all seemed to be experienced. My only negative comment was that for the last 15 minutes or so, it seemed like a race back to the office, with very little info given out by Will and Noah. Otherwise, a lot of fun. |

I'd do it again in a heartbeat.

| It was great fun. The tour guide was excellent. The group size was perfect. The Segways were outstanding (I want one). It is an unbeatable way to see a city. |

| I flew my parents in to DC for a weekend and this was one of the top activities on our list. Unfortunately, my aging father had trouble with his achilles tendon and was unable to ride except for the training session on the Segways, but the company refunded his fee and my mom and I were still able to enjoy the tour while Dad read a book back at the shop.
The tour was very good and my 70+ year old mom did fine! |
