| My tour was a night tour, and fabulous. In my tour we started with the wide open area in front of the White House, but at that point we just got started and so most of the tour group was tentative and still learning the machine. I think we really couldn't enjoy the open area as much as we would've at the end. It takes about 30 minutes to feel really competent, 5 minutes to just get going. The staff are very tolerant and patient. Our tour guide knew a good deal of facts about the sights we visited, and was polite. |

| The Segway tour of the DC Capital buildings was the right way to see all the monuments of DC. The Segways performed flawlessly, and the size of the group was ideal -- about a dozen or so.
The guides were great at the logistics of threading the group through flocks of tourists and between clumps of traffic.
However, as a tour of the monuments of the capital, the trip had some shortcomings. It was difficult to hear the guides because they had no amplification or speakers. With the traffic & tourist noises all around, you frequently couldn't hear their patter.
The dialog was delivered with that '13th time today' lassitude that guides get after months of spewing the same patter with little variation. They were perfunctory, but not excited by the seeting or the history surrounding them.
I'd still recommend the tour, especially if you haven't been on a Segway, and if you have the chance to follow up on the buildings of specific interest to you. |

| The tour guides were extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. The length of time of the tour (two hours) was just about perfect because, candidly, our feet got tired. (We are two old guys!) Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience.
The two of us were in a large group, 16 I believe, and at times we got all strung out and some of us missed some of the narration at the stops.
Suggestions:
1) Break up the large groups in to two smaller ones leaving five minutes, or so, apart.
2) It would be nice if you could find a way to let everyone get off their Segways and walk around or sit for five minutes near the middle of the tour.
Finally,
3) I am a tour guide for the Voice of America (VOA) at 4th and Independence, SW. I would appreciate it if you would point out the VOA and give our VOA tours a plug. The cost is FREE and the tours are at 12:15 pm and 3:15 pm every business day. (No tours on the weekend or on federal holidays.)
Thanks,

| Our experience with our recent Capital Segway tour of Washington was thoroughly enjoyable. We had recently taken a Segway tour in another major east coast city and found Capital Segway to be heads and shoulders better in a number of key areas. The training was excellent and very relaxed. We started in the showroom and when everyone was comfortable on their Segway, we moved across the street to a park with plenty of room to practice at touring speeds. Once everyone was comfortable here, we headed out for the tour. We were provided a high quality portable receiver & headset so we could hear our guide throughout the tour. Noah, our guide, was very informative. The Segways were in great shape and all units were fully charged for the tour. We have been to Washington a number of times but the Segway tour enabled us to cover a lot of ground in a couple of hours and see details we had never noticed on previous visits. |

| I came to Washington for a conference and had decided that all I was going to see was the conference since I had banged up my knee before arriving in D.C. I was pretty timid with all the standard excuses--"bum knee", "not an athlete", "old enough to be everybody's mother". But Noah and Will got me up on a Segway, made sure I was comfortable with the machine, and carefully guided me around. It was great fun for my daughter and me to twirl around the city together! I'll definitely Segway again. |

| This is a really fun activity even if you live in the metro area. The segways were easy to use and the tour guide was very friendly. The tour seems to last just the right amount time (you get a litte tired standing for 2 hours). The tour guide does a good job of narrating the sites that you get to see, but if you are looking for covering a large amount of ground in a lot of detail then opt for a different type of tour. However, if you are looking for a unique and fun activity this is tour for you!! |

| this tour was so much fun! before you get on the segways, you get a thorough and adequate lesson on how to ride one, so absolutely no experience is necessary. they're SO easy to ride and SO MUCH FUN! it's a million times better than walking to see the sights in DC. :) the price was well worth it. our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun to be with. we highly recommend this tour to everyone!! |

| Capital Segway was a fun, different way to tour Washington, D.C. Having never been on a Segway, I was exited in the first place to see what it would be like. Our (me and my brothers) experience were beyond what we were expecting. Before we got on the segways, we had a quick overview of the whole process of handling a segway, and we got to practice. The tour guide was down to earth, fun, and very knowledgeable about the DC area.
Overall, I would highly recommend taking this tour, with Capital Segways. We had a great experience, and would do it again. It was an awesome, different to tour the city. The best thing about the tour, is because we were mobile, and taking sidewalks, we were able to have a closer experience to the city. It was much better than to be on a bus, or trolley. Thank you Capital Segway!!! |
