| We had so much fun. I would love to bring my friends and family for a tour. It was so easy to learn how to drive the segway. The staff was very friendly and knowledgeable. |

Love it! Awesome. I'm gonna buy one of these.

| This was definitely a highlight of our trip to Washington, DC. This is the was to get around - no doubt. The tour guide was the best, the tour was super, and the Segways were the coolest. I would recommend this as part of a D.C. visit every time! You have to do this. When you get there, these things are everywhere and if you are not on one, you wish you were! |

| My nephew and his friend, both about 20, were visiting me in DC so I treated them to the tour. I've wanted to do the tour myself for some time, so I went too. We loved it! Just a couple comments: 1. Suggest that folks bring a bottle of water. We got extremely thirsty after the 1st hour. 2. Suggest that folks wear comfortable shoes because they'll be standing for 2 hours. 3. Tell folks that pedestrians have the right of way in DC, especially on sidewalks. 4. Offer an alternate route, not just the tourist route. I plan to go again, this time with a group of local friends. How about going down by the river near the Kennedy Center, for example? Maybe a certain tour-time could be more geared to local residents. |

| Riding the Segway is a unique way to see parts of DC and it was a lot of fun. We certainly attracted attention! We got to see the White House, the Capitol Building parts of the Smithsonian and other federal buildings but the tour doesn't include memorials or monuments due to limitations on where the Segways can be ridden.
The tour guides were knowledgeable and very accomodating though sometimes I had hoped for more detail in their briefings.
Riding the Segway was definitely a blast and made the tour quite enjoyable.
Definitely worth the money. |

| French friends came to visit us in DC and decided that the best way to spend their 24 hours with us was via the Segway tour. They were right. The introductory session just before the tour did include a video which could be shown in French as well as other foreign languages. So even if your English is weak, you still get the very necessary information to learn how to operate the Segway safely (if you ask them to repeat this video in the other language). I was amazed at how easy it was to learn to use the machine. We had a very pleasant route through the the Mall area, and it was a lot of fun.
A note on the after-effects on your legs: Because you spend the whole time essentially standing and just shifting your weight between the balls and heels of your feet, it is in some ways more tiring than actually walking--not as much circulation for your legs as when you really walk. However, it really is fun to play with this different form of locomotion.
People who love this tour should also consider the Bike-the-Sites tour on regular bicycles, especially in the evening. That tour passes by all the various monuments (Jefferson, Lincoln, Vietnam Memorial, etc) on the west side of the Mall, whereas the Segway tour concentrates more on east side of the Mall showing where the main Smithsonian museums with interesting collections are, not to mention passing by the White House and Ford Theater. |

| My husband planned this tour as a surprise for me. At first I was hesitant about riding on a segway. However, the staff were so helpful and friendly they quickly put me at ease. Plenty of practice time was given and two staff accompanied our small group on the tour. Riding on the segway was easy and fun as well as a great way to see the city. We have been on bike tours of cities before but this was a much easier ride and more fun. We were able to see all the highlights of Washington DC without any walking. The guides were also very laid back, knowledgable and helpful. I would hightly recommend this tour for all ages. |

| Good fun and very worth while doing. We got to see lots of the sights, and with a humorous commentary from our 2 guides.
We were surprised at how easy the Segway was to use, and by the end of the tour we were experts !! okay, maybe not experts but we sure did enjoy the experience.
This something everyone should do at least once, don't be shy!
Next time I visit Washington DC, I'll be sure to do it again.

| Great experience We really enjoyed this trip. My only problem is figuring out the reason I need a Segway at home. |

| It was a great trip and a lot of fun but I think that time could be better divided if the groups were smaller. I feel that some people spent a lot of time waiting for others to catch up and others spent a lot of time catching up. It seemed like the group could easily be divided into two more comfortable groups and perhaps make all customers happier.
That said, I would definitely recommend this tour to people I know visiting DC.
Thanks. |
