See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

I was really anticipating this tour and it was even better than I anticipated! The tour guide was fantastic - humorous, entertaining and knowledgeable! I will admit to being nervous about getting on a Segway, but they made sure everyone was comfortable before heading out. I can't express enough how well worth it this tour was. I left DC raving about this, above all the other activities I did when there.

On the last day of our 2 week DC stay we did the Segway tour... 1stly ANYONE can ride one of these, it was a bit scary to start but within 5 minutes we were all pros. The Segways allowed us to travel much further & see much more than by foot. The tour guide was very helpful leading us through town, warning of upcoming pot holes & telling us trivia about the various sites we saw. Everyone in our group had an awesome time & would definitely do this again in other cities... in fact we would buy one if they weren't so expensive :(

The time was put back an hour and I was not notified and I had planned the day around the time set so wasted an hour sitting in Franklin Park (tho the day was nice). A group of six (part of those due at the new time) arrived at the stroke of 2 o'clock and were busy chatting and not flustered that the rest of us were ready to go. I felt that we started later than we should have because of them and as a result we did not get to the front of the Capitol as I had on my last visit and I was disappointed. The guide was good and the trip was fun. I will continue to recommend it to friends (some of whom have done it!).

The tour combined a little bit of history along with the fun of riding the Segway. The tour guides were great and fun. I would do it again.

We four young(ish) grandparents had a wonderful tour with Jordan and Tyler. The early, 9:30 Sunday morning tour was especialy great for us, as there were relatively few people about and we had the roads mostly to ourselves. The Segway was easy to learn and let us quikly get around to see many of the DC attractions. We had a lot of fun. Its well worth the price.

It was a great experience and would do it again.

The staff was very professional and friendly and the shop was easy to find. The guide took plenty of time to teach everyone how to use the segway until everyone was comfortable. Our guide was very knowledgeable on the city sights. Great time and I would recommend it.

Our first experience on a segway,and it wont be the last .Capital Segway was great!!!.Staff was tremendous ,Shout out to Steve for securing my wifes handbag at store, and to our guide Tyler for his knowledge of sites , attractions, and his overall performance.Couldnt imagine covering all that we did on foot.GOOD STUFF!!!!!!

I have done this tour a couple of time and I highly recommend this for any family and any age level. My 60+ year old mother did the Segway Tour (in Bermuda) and after a very short learning curve was zipping all over the place with no problems at all! Taking pictures, flirting with the guide... if she can do it (she's a bit wobbly and tends to get distracted so I was worried she'd fall... but she never had one problem!) Laughing is a constant thing when you're riding these amazing machines. The information you get about the area is so great. Well worth the money. My only complaint is that it needs to be at least 4 hours!!!!

Traveling around the "circuit" in Washington, DC was a wonderful experience. I had not been on a Segway and I was not disappointed in the ease of learning and operating the Segway. The group was mixed but with only one experienced rider, the training was effective and efficient. The running commentary was fun and informative. I would recommend Capital Segway to anyone who wants the fun of riding a Segway and be informed while traveling though our nation's capital.
