| Riding the Segway was incredibly easy and took less than 5 minutes to master. It was a great, unique way to tour the city. Adam was an extremely knowledgeable tour guide that really catered to us. He even reposed us for pictures to make them better because he knew where the best pictures could be taken. I've already recommended this tour to other people! If you aren't sure what you want to stand in line for and what can just be seen from the outside, take this tour first. It will help you decide what you want to go back to and see in detail. |

| This was an awesome time for my 16 year-old son and I. Having never been to DC, we got a good overview of where the city's highlights are, so we have some bearings when we go back to do a more in-depth visit of the city. Our tour guide, Mary Ann, was enthusiastic and very informed about the local history. The segways were in great shape and easy to operate. We highly recommend this adventure for anyone!! |

| Your staff was wonderful and patient with us and nice as could be. The places we went past were the important ones of D.C. The tour guides may want to work a little bit on their D.C. information that they present. I did this for my husband's birthday, and it was a wonderful way to celebrate. |

| I surprised my boyfriend with this activity as a part of a day full of D.C. Surprises in celebration of his 27th birthday. The surprise activities included Kayaking along the Potomac, Lunch at Hank's Oyster Bar, Dinner at the Tabard Inn, a show at the D.C Improv, but the event that was the most memorable and most exciting and entertaining was, by far, the Segway Tour. We loved the experience. The tour guides were informative (not in a dry tour-guide-kinda-way, but in a personal, humerous, entertaining way.) We saw the entire city of D.C. in two hours and loved every minute of it. Can't wait to try it again. |

| it was a great way to travel a lot of ground in the city. it was nice to do the tour at dusk, we got some great shots of the city. the tour guide was very informative about the places we saw on the tour. wish we would have had microphones in the helmets so we could have more easily have heard the commentary.
highly would recommend this tour for a first time visitor to a seasoned dc vistor. |

| Simply loved it! Would recommend to others. It's hot hot hot during the summer so a disclaimer to bring water would be my only recommendation. |

| A group of us come to DC to run the Marine Corps Marathon each October. We arrive three days early to tour the sites and restaurants. In 2008 we signed up for the evening tour of DC - it was so much fun when we returned in 2009 we signed up for the same tour.
We found the evening tour to be very enjoyable. Hardly any foot traffic and very little vehicle traffic. This made for it being easy to maneuver the streets and to enjoy the ride without having to worry about being hit (or hitting someone).
What we learned in research: There is a competitive company to Capitol Segway, but we learned their segway units have a governor on them and this limits the fun. Segways are safe. If one has ever rode a bicycle (even if it was 40 years ago), you can be up and riding a segway in 4 minutes of practice - and you do get to practice with a trainer until you are ready (they don't want problems on the tour, so you aren't going until you are ready).
We learned with the 2009 tour, when a group signs up they can outline their own tour, and next year we will do a tour of Georgetown.
Our time schedule: We sit to eat dinner at Old Ebbitt's Grill (one of our favorite - make sure you make reservations a month in advance) two hours in advance, than walk three blocks to Segway. Before Old Ebbitt we did the Washington Monument this year, and a tour of the B&O Canal the prior year. The timing works out perfectly to enjoy Segway. And of course after the tour we walk a few blocks back to Old Ebbitt for dessert and drinks. |
