See The City Tour - A Segway Tour of Washington DC

It was so much fun to tour DC with Capital Segway. Chris was our tour guide and he was a great teacher. No one in our entire group had ever used a segway before and he taught us fast and patiently. He was also great at showing us the sites and giving lots of great background on the history. There were times we had to get on the road (congested DC traffic and sidewalk obstructions), but we felt VERY safe despite this. Even if you are not very coordinated like me, you can learn to ride the segway. I wholeheartedly recommend it and would do it again in a heartbeat! Thanks for a great tour and a special memory!

We absolutely loved riding around. The machines took only a minute or two to get used to, otherwise they were very easy to control and reeeeeeally enjoyable! We didn't want to get off those things and could have kept going forever!! The tour guides were nice and laid back also. Highly recommend this!!

It would have taken all day walking to see as much as we did.

An excellent way to see the DC hot history spots while wizzing around in a very cool way. Great guides and the headsets are a must..

I was pleasantly surprised at how fast we learned how to use the Segways and how quickly we became comfortable on them. I enjoyed the length of time we spend touring around and was not tired at all at the end of the tour. The only thing I would have liked to have seen was more of the DC Monuments like the Lincoln Memorial, the Vietnam Wall, perpaps the FDR and JEfferson. More of the traditional destinations that are spaced out and hard on the feet walking from one to another. OR if there were more than one route to choose from so I could go again and not repeat the same tour, that would be nice. Overall, I was very pleased with the tour.

Our young tour guide seemed a bit laissez-faire about the whole process. He often did not speak into the microphone, so we missed a few tidbits, but overall, we were satisfied. Additionally, he could have shared MANY more facts about the sights and had plenty of time to do so as we only had four people on our tour. I would still recommend the Segway Tour to visiting tourists.

This was a wonderful way to see the major places in DC...it get's you there quickly and allows you to see where you may want to go for an in depth look....plus the segways are really fun to ride!
