Capital Segway

Really enjoyed it and it wouldn't have been the same without Matt and Justin. Both of them incredibly conscious of our safety, knew the city well and thoroughly enjoyed what they did. It was a wonderful way to see the city and clearly still a bit of a novelty. We were as much of an attraction for photo opportunities as anything else happening in DC that day. Altogether a really great experience and one I would recommend to anyone.

Especially useful was the wired headsets that allowed for running commentary most of the full 2 hours out. Training was able to start ahead of time when entire group was available. Though it seems a bit pricey the ROI was high even for long time DC area residents. If it is a chilly day (like we had) dress with layers for wind and have good gloves.

This was an amazing experience. The staff helped our group feel very comfortable and were able to teach us how to use the segways so fast. The tour its self was awesome as we saw alot of landmarks in DC and had a cool history lesson to boot. Thank you to the staff for a very fun afternoon!!

The Segway tour was the highlight of our time in DC. It was a lot of fun and allowed us to see many major sites in a short time and in a fun way. Would recommend if you're doing this in the winter months to dress accordingly - hat, gloves and warm clothes because it can get very cold especially when you're in motion on the Segway; this was probably the only downside. However it was so much fun, we didn't mind the cold that much. The guides were excellent, provided good information in an entertaining manner and kept us safe. Highly recommend.

9 of us participated in the segway tour as an office team building event. We had a great time!

The Segway tour was fantastic. It was an evening tour from 6:30 to 8:30 pm. However, I wish it didn't rain so when you book your Segway tour make sure that the weather conditions are good. Another thing I wish we made it in the afternoon or morning since we visited several locations that would've been better in the daylight for taking pictures.

My sister and I took the Segway tour on a beautiful Sunday afternoon. Our guide was great! Will be back with other family members to do this again.

We had a great guide, (Tyler), beautiful day, we all loved the information, fun, fun time!

We brought 7, highly energetic, 16 year-old guys to DC to do a segway tour to celebrate our son's birthday. We thought the tour might be something out-of-the-ordinary and might just spark interest in a bunch of hard-to-please 16 year-olds. Well, the tour did not disappoint. It was an absolute blast and very successful. Our tour guide, Tyler, paced the tour to the abilities of the group and we zoomed through DC without any problems and were able to see more than Tyler originally thought. Tyler was fantastic, respectfully entertaining and handled the group perfectly. We highly endorse and recommend the tour and Tyler! We will definitely find a reason to do this again.

Upon arrival, we found that only my mother and I had registered for the night tour. Rather than canceling and rescheduling because the group was too small, Capital Segway kindly offered to continue the tour - just the two of us. Our guide was extremely patient, taking 30-40 minutes to make sure that we were both safe and comfortable on the Segway. Our guide was also very accomodating as far as the length of the tour - cutting things a little short when requested- as my mother sometimes tires easily due to diabetes. The content of the tour itself was solid. The guide was knowledgable, with a good sense of humor. The segways seemed well maintained. The overall atmosphere was friendly and low pressure, with remarkably patient personel, making for a fun and memorable experience.

Everyone should ride a Segway at least once in their lifetime. Washington D.C. is the perfect sightseeing town to do it. Much better than being caged up in a crowded tour bus. Highly recommend.

I flunked Segway 101. While still in the store, the manager decided that I would be a safety risk to myself and others if I were let loose out on the streets of DC. He was right.

The tour is so entertaining that the 2 hours are going too fast. Pour les Français qui se poseraient la question ... n'hésitez pas un seul instant, ça vaut vraiment le coup !!!!

Segway tour was so much fun and made sightseeing of DC even more enjoyable! Excellent tour guide and a great day out.
