Capital Segway

The Segway tour was a fun way to get an overview of the sites in the downtown area. There was no real detail on each place we saw, but I didn't expect to get that information since 2 hours is really only time enough for an overview. Tyler, our guide, was informative and made the tour interesting. The operation instructions for the Segway were clear and the machine was not hard to master. I have below average balance so most people will do fine. The practice time in the park was very helpful to gain confidence. Go for it.

Someone recommended this Segway Tour of DC to me. I have been visiting DC for several years on business but this time I was a tourist and the Segway Tour was great fun and we covered a lot of territory in 2 hours time. Would recommend this to anyone looking for something different.

This was our first time on a Segway. The tour started with training in the store, then a little practice in the park across the street ... with Tyler's expertise and patient confidence we quickly were on our way. The tour itself was great, went past highlights around the Mall, White House and Capital. We got the introduction to the area we were looking for, and I gotta say it was REALLY fun on the Segway! There was a storm predicted for the day we had reserved, and Capital Segway called us in advance to reschedule to another day, which we truly appreciated. I highly recommend Capital Segway. My husband and I were holidaying from Australia and we thoroughly enjoyed the tour. We have used segways before and they were great with everyone in the group. The tour was informative particularly because of the ear piece u get so u can hear the guide at all time.

Highly recommend it! So much fun. The guides were friendly and knowledgable. Only complaint, not long enough. The 2 hr tour included the training in a park nearby. So the actual tour was only 1 hr 40 minutes. Plus, the tour needs to include more locations.

What a great way to see the city. The quides were amusing, seem to know all the sites / history but made the tour fun. We both enjoyed the 2 hours, it was great fun

My wife and I enjoyed our time in DC. Riding the Segways made our Anniversary 10x better. I would highly recommend touring various sights via the Segway and using Capitol Segway as the tour guide. The staff at Capitol Segway were very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks for an awesome experience.

It was a last minute decision to take my boyfriend on a Segway tour on our last night in DC. He was unfortunately in dc for work and didn't get to visit the sights like I did during the days. The tour guides Did a great job teaching everyone to ride the Segway properly and were fantastic during the actual tour. The ear pieces make it very easy to hear everything that is going on. Especially simple Instructions like "turn left ahead" or "watch out for the upcoming bikes". I thought this tour was worth the money! My boyfriend loved it even more than I did and talked about it for a couple of days afterwards. Looking forward to doing a similar tour somewhere else. Thanks guys!

This was the most fun we've had since we moved here!

Have been looking forward to this for about 3 years. Last time in DC the Teenagers did not want anything to do with Segways. Guess it was not cool. So this time Just me and the wife and we had a great time. Tour guides very knowledgeable. Only one suggestion, need better radios. It seems the range was not far enough when you were towards the back of the pack.

Saw loads, great guide and a great way to get a feel for dc

This was my first Segway tour. It was a nice ride. I feel like it ran a little short based on waiting an extensive amount of time for paying customers. I am not sure if there is an option to split the group in two to allow those that arrived on time or early to get more out of the tour. I would have also like to see the Lincoln Monument and maybe some other parts of the area as part of the tour. The tour guides were great. Very knowledgeable and humorous. I would probably do it again in another town.

This was a great time for us older parents and middle aged children. We quickly became familiar with the equipment and were off to the streets of Washington. Our guide, Matt, was friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable about the sights. We had lived in the DC area years ago but learned new stories from him. The earpiece allowing us to ride as he talked was helpful. We did the two hour tour and covered sites from the Capital to the Washington Monument. Nick, the guy that gave us the tour was great, he had tons of patience with my mom that was al ittle bit afraid of the segway, it was really funny the fact that my mom didnt speak english and how they communicate. Great experience segways and washington great combo

Enjoyed the tour and the ability to see so much of DC in a short period of time!
