Capital Segway

Delightful experience - even educational at times - but the Segways stole the show! Would do again -

Our guide, Will, was fantastic! He was kind, helpful, informative and loads of fun. Segways are THE BEST way to see the sites. It is easy to take pictures and Will was so nice to offer to take pictures of the couples and families on our tour. We plan on doing Segway tours on future trips where they are provided. i have balance issues and had no problem whatsoever in getting acclimated to the Segway. The video they showed us before leaving plus the personal demonstration by Will were both extremely helpful. The price was a great bargain and the tour included sites such as the White House, the Capitol, the Washington Monument, Museums, and cherry blossoms. Go to DC Segway and request Will and you won't be disappointed. This was on April 2, 2009 and my 40th birthday and one i will never forget! Thanks Will and DC Segway for a great birthday! Adele

We had a small group of five - myself, a married couple and two friends. Noah, our guide, was fantastic! He was knowledgeable, helpful, informative, friendly and non-intrusive. The experience was joyous! I had ridden a Segway PT prior to this tour, but the unfettered nature of this tour in our nation's capital was simply fantastic. I will do this again and again with family and friends. Thank you, Capital Segway!!!

I cannot ride a bike however I found it easy and so much fun.

I'd wanted to try a Segway ever since they first came out, and took the tour for the test-ride. Enjoyed every minute of it. Using a Segway is intuitive, and the ride was a lot of fun -- I didn't want to give the machine back. I'll be a repeat customer because many of my friends also want to go for a spin.

We were not sure if we would be able to get the coordination down, but after riding in the store and around the park across the street, we felt comfortable. We werezooming around under total control before the tour even started. This was a great trip to quickly zoom around D.C. and hit the highlights. Strongly recommended them. Great instructors/tour guides. Would do again and probably will.

I flew my parents in to DC for a weekend and this was one of the top activities on our list. Unfortunately, my aging father had trouble with his achilles tendon and was unable to ride except for the training session on the Segways, but the company refunded his fee and my mom and I were still able to enjoy the tour while Dad read a book back at the shop. The tour was very good and my 70+ year old mom did fine!

This was a lot of fun! We were able to adapt to using the Segway easily. They were Very fun to ride around on, and this company encouraged you to experiment which helped you get used to the segway and trust yourself to ride it to its full potential, which we did! The tour of the momuments and the information given was interesting and well thought out. I would reccomend this to anyyone who likes getting out and doing something different.,

FUN

My visiting friend and I just wanted to experience a "Segway." We're locals here and just had always wanted to see how they work. What a great time! If you're more interested in the machine than the sites, make sure you do it mid-week before the summer tourist season. Great guides, too!

My husband and I (mid 30s) did the capital segway tour on the first day we got to D.C. This was a great way to get familiarized with the city. Our guide Will was very informative and made sure we were all comfortable and safe on the segways before we began our tour! We had so much fun we thought about doing it again at the end of our trip. We would highly recommend it!

A Segway is a perfect way to get around DC. I was a little worried that I might be running over pedestrians and crashing into things, but it is nothing like that. After a very short period using it, it becomes as intuitive as walking. The folks at Capital Segway were pleasant to work with and made sure we were all completely comfortable using them before we started out. The machines are a blast and any age person can adapt to them easily. The tour itself was informative and fun, and gave a nice overview of some of the major sites of the city. Our guide was knowledgeable and helpful, even giving good suggestions of places to have lunch afterwards. Was one of the highlights of our trip.

Thank you for a fun filled tour. Aaron, our guide, did a great job of teaching us how to handle the Segway. He was well- mannered and knowledgeable of sights in DC. At times he traveled a little fast and was difficult for everyone in the group to keep up. My only concerns with the tour was the waiting time before starting the group. Our family was there 15 minutes ahead of time while another family joining the tour was late arriving by 15 minutes. Although Aaron gave us the alloted time, it did make us late for our next activity. Your advertizement addresses being on time - then - I believe you should leave on time. I have already recommended your tour to 2 families that will visit DC. Thanks for a great experience.

Great way to see D.C. We had thought about a bus tour but this had the added benefit of being fun and informative. Highly recommend it.

We felt very much at ease with our orientation and the guidance "on the road". Staff were well informed, courteous, had a sense of humor.
