So much fun and good tour guides

I have been on 2 other segway tours and this one was the worst. I paid for two hours and only got 1 hour and 20 minutes. Our tour guide texted the entire time and wouldn't stop and the main attractions. I felt he was making up facts because I was more educated on DC than him. Nice guy, just felt as if he was more concerned about getting the tour over with. The owner was nice. I would recomend for the money to book with the Smithsonian Tour.

We had a blast riding our segways and the tour guides dan and justin were hilarious and made the time go by quick and were very informative. they definitely took the time to get everyone adjusted to riding segways and were very patient and helpful! the tour and information they passed along was very insightful, even though we saw much of the sites before hand it was nice to have some description and details about them. I was hesistate to do the tour in the evening but am glad i did as it was amazing to see them lit up at night and traveling across the town to each momument was made easier with our awsome segways! i want one now. thanks again guys!!

DC is so spread out and, to be honest, a little intimidating to a first-time visitor. The Segway tour is an awesome and really fun way to get a feel for the lay of the land. We took an evening tour between 6:30-8:30pm, which meant everything was illuminated and it was so beautiful. The segways were very easy to ride, provided a sense of adventure and kept us smiling the whole trip. Our guide was very knowledgeable, but didn't do much to foster camaraderie and wasn't overly concerned with making the trip more fun...he was very nice, but a little serious. I'm a tour guide myself, in the city of Austin, and part of my job is to make my groups laugh and smile while they're learning in order to keep them in a "vacation" frame of mind...even if the jokes are corny, they're still appreciated. Overall, we were thrilled with our experience, we've already recommended it to several people and we would definitely do it again. (and if you're a resident of DC, I recommend taking this trip at least once...you may have seen it all already, but it's a really fun way to spend a few hours in your hometown. This would make a perfect date night outing)

My friend/coworker and I went on this tour the first night we were in town for a conference. The Segways were fun, and the sites we saw were beautiful at night. We got tons of suggestions for places to go to eat and drink, and we used several of them during our trip with great satisfaction! Our tour guides were very knowledgeable and friendly.

I decided to surprise my mom (61 years old) with this tour on our recent trip to DC. I don't know how to sum up her opinion better than by using her own words, "This was the most fun I've had in YEARS!" This is coming from a woman who has fun just about every chance she can. It's almost as if the Segway was invented just for DC. Zooming down the streets and sidewalks was exhilarating. We spent the day before walking through the National Mall, and we should have skipped it and waited because touring it on Segway was SOOO much better. Anyways, I cannot do service to how cool this tour way in words because I have to cut this short. All I can say is, if you have any doubts about your ability to handle something like this, at least go down there and give it a shot. Our entire class was handling these things like champs within 10 minutes of practicing.

The team in DC were awesome. We were a little nervous to ride the segways. They taught us how to use them properly and always looked out for our safety. I highly recommend.

The segways were fun but our tour guide's negativity was a huge distraction. We wanted to hear what is interesting and historic about DC, not what is wrong with it.

Loved the segway tour. Great way to get around the city. However, our tour guide at Capital Segway had a very negative opinion of DC that slightly tainted our tour. Hopefully you don't get the German tour guide.

Needed to kill a couple hours before my group arrived on a delayed flight. Was going to do a exploration jog/run around the city, looked at some "tours" to get an idea of where to go and stumbled upon this Segway tour. Looked interesting, did some research on other companies and this seemed to be top notch. Really easy sign up, easier time learning the Segway, and the Tour with our guide Justin was educating and I even had a couple laughs. I went solo and that was cool, the other Segwayers in the group made a neat bunch. Recommend going with friends. If you're going to do Segway through the city, this is the company I would go with...so much so, if I'm back, have the time, and am with my friends, I'd do it all over again.

My wife and I enjoyed our time in DC. Riding the Segways made our Anniversary 10x better. I would highly recommend touring various sights via the Segway and using Capitol Segway as the tour guide. The staff at Capitol Segway were very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks for an awesome experience.

This was my first Segway tour. It was a nice ride. I feel like it ran a little short based on waiting an extensive amount of time for paying customers. I am not sure if there is an option to split the group in two to allow those that arrived on time or early to get more out of the tour. I would have also like to see the Lincoln Monument and maybe some other parts of the area as part of the tour. The tour guides were great. Very knowledgeable and humorous. I would probably do it again in another town.

Nick, the guy that gave us the tour was great, he had tons of patience with my mom that was al ittle bit afraid of the segway, it was really funny the fact that my mom didnt speak english and how they communicate. Great experience segways and washington great combo

Enjoyed the tour and the ability to see so much of DC in a short period of time!
