Capital Segway

I absolutely loved this tour! Segways are very easy to get used to, and in a matter of minutes I was rolling around having the time of my life! The tour guides were very nice and informative, and we saw all the major sights. I do recommend picking a warm day to go!

capital segway is the best ever trip in my life.. We enjoyed it a lot. It was cool to drag though the capital riding a segway, we really loved it.

The segway tour was one of the highlights of the vacation. The segways are easy to use and so much fun. We covered over 6 miles on segways and it sure beats walking. When I schedule my next vacation, I will check on the availability of segway tours. Capital Segway staff were very patient explaining the segway and they gave us time to get used to them before we left.

A Segway tour is as cheesy as you might think, but a lot more fun. The guides were enthusiastic and made sure that we saw everything and got around the city safely. You look like a dork cruising at 12.5 mph down the sidewalk, but you're still cruising through DC and seeing all there is to see. Highly recommended.

We had a great time on our tour of DC. The segways were fun to ride and certainly made it easier seeing the sites. The guides were definitely knowledgeable.

Sightseeing + labor-intensive walking or sightseeing + joy ride

My fiancee and I have both been to DC multiple times. I still managed to see some new sights and learn a few bits of history courtesy of the Capital Segway tour. My fiancee absolutely loved her first time riding her segway and was at the front of the pack the whole time. I now have a disability that would have made it impossible for me to walk around and see everything like I used to, but the segway was an excellent alternative. When I started to experience fatigue in my leg, the guides were very courteous and helpful in making sure I could rest, sit, and enjoy the entire tour from start to finish, without making a scene or interrupting the tour. Mostly 20-somethings on the tour, but a few older people were laughing the whole time. Very highly recommended!

We couldn't believe how many things we saw on our tour. Nick was our tour guide. He was excellent. He combined great knowledge with a wonderful sense of humor. My wife and I would gladly go on a tour with him again. It was also a lot of fun riding the Segways which was an experience in itself. Nick was very patient teaching us how to ride the Segways. Josh, who stayed behind in the office, has excellent customer service skills. He was very helpful and positive.

We went to the 5pm tour so we could see stuff in the daylight and also some of the monuments at night which was great. It was very cold the day we did it but riding those Segways made up for the cold. Our tour guide was awesome and he was very enthusiastic about the tour just as much as we were to be on the tour. Segways are soooo much fun to ride. I wanted to do an afternoon tour the next day but we had more stuff to do than we had time to do it in. YOU HA VE TO DO THIS TOUR!!!

This was a fun way to pack a whole day of sightseeing into a few hours. Using the segway was easier than I expected. Highly recommended =)

This aws totaly awsome! Blew my High excectations out of the water, and it was even rainy, windy and crapy when we whent and I still had a ball. you cover alot of ground in a short amount of time, and learn more about the city so you can go by stops later on your own and cheack things out that you might not have know about or where they are at. Highly recomend.

I really enjoyed my segway tour of D.C.! One of the benefits is that I got to see many of the important sites of the capitol without having to spend all day walking around. The segways were easy to use, and I had a blast riding them around. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the sites and had information that I would not otherwise have learned, which was nice as well. I recommend this for younger people for the experience of riding the segway, and older people for the joy of seeing the sites that D.C. has to offer!

My family and I took the Capital Segway tour in DC. We had the best time! Karen, our guide, was fantastic. She showed us how to use the Segways in the store and then took us to the park for more practice. We saw all of the sights in DC while riding by people on our Segways. My son rode the X2 Segway, an off road model while his friend, my husband and myself rode the I 2, on road model. We wore helmets but did not need knee pads or elbow pads. My son's friend asked to look in a gift shop and Karen stayed with the Segways while we looked. I highly recommend this tour to everyone, athletic and klutz's alike.

My husband and I have been itching to ride Segways for a long time and we're both happy to report that the experience exceeded our expectations! The tour guides were knowledgeable, friendly and very entertaining. We highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants to see a great deal of the city in a short amount of time.
