All three of my group LOVED this tour! The Segway is a blast to ride, even for those of us who aren't as young as we used to be. Our tour was scheduled for the Fourth of July, so many streets were blocked off due to the holiday parade. However, our two guides were relaxed and in fine form as we negotiated a different route than the usual one. The information the guides passed along was interesting and well-presented, but face it - the Segway was the main attraction! I look forward to doing this tour again sometime. Too fun for words!!!

Scott must bring the Segways to Grand Cayman and Cape Town! Thoroughly enjoyed myself, thanks Capital Segway!!

We really enjoyed our tour of DC on the Segway. At first it was a little scary....but after you get out of the store and are able to spread your wings, it was "oh sooooo cool". Our guide was quite accommodating and very informative. We would recommend this for everyone!

One of the most enjoyable tour activities ever.

This was not our first time to tour DC and usually just driving around looking at monuments doesn't appeal to me, but this was time and money well spent. The Segway was fun and easy to ride and the guides seemed to enjoy our enthusiasm of the device, never acted bored and added just enough humor and flexibility to the tour. If you are looking for something fun and different, this is it!

My husband and I had an amazing time on a 2 hour evening segway tour of DC. The tour guides were great and the segway's were so much fun! 10 out of 10 :-)

Great fun. Started out a tad uneasy on the Segway, but training was great and pace was fine, so I caught on within minutes. Tour guide had lots of entertaining information and stopped for several photo breaks. I would love to take this very tour again!

I bought this for my husband for our anniversary. We went with another couple form my work. My husband LOVED it - he is not an easy one to please! We have told our friends and we definately do it again - with our children and when guests come to town. We posted our photos on Facebook and all our friends want to do it. So much fun. I also learned facts about DC that I did not know! Thanks

As soon as we were back to the hotel, our son (17 yrs), started searching your website for another tour! It was a fantastic time and I highly recommend it. I was unsure of my ability to actually ride on a segway, but there was no reason to worry. Throughout the tour Drew, our guide, continued to ask me how things were going and reassured the group that we should all go at the speed we were comfortable. My husband was even wearing a knee brace and had no problem with the tour. This was the highlight of our DC trip and, as we took it the first day, we were well oriented with the city and had absolutely no problem getting around during the week.

Great way to see the sites. Although I was somewhat disappointed that we didn't have time to see the Lincoln Memorial.

The Capitol Segway tour was the best thing we did in DC! A great way to get oriented with the ciy! A fun way to see the monuments & city, and a great break from walking everywhere! Our tour guide, Aron, gave us a good overview of the city and also gave us specific details, interesting facts. Our orientation with the segways was simple and they were fun to use. We would highly recommend this tour to everyone and would recommend this at the beginning of your trip!

Segway DC Tour was fun!

It was a little pricey for a tour of the sights (thus the 4 stars instead of 5), but worth it for me as I had little time in DC and had never been before. Our guide was helpful in training us on the Segways and good at providing some interesting info on the historic landmarks we saw. We saw all the main DC locations within 2 hours, learned some interesting facts, and had a blast zipping around town doing it. Would do it again and would recommend to others.

I decided to take a Segway tour and treat my friend for her birthday adventure. I saw the ad in a DC magazine in our hotel. We were attending a conference and looking for something to do in the evening. Our tour time was 7:00PM. We were trained and out in DC touring when a severe thunderstorm hit around us. We had been an hour into the tour. I loved the experience and knew we had to go back to the store. Our guides kept us safe and sound with many regrets of taking us back. We enjoyed the shorten version and were given a gift certificate for another scheduled time. I Will on tour when I get back down to DC. I have found out our next conference is back in Washington and am looking forward to the segway adventure, the sequel. My friend was scared to get on them when we began the adventure, but soon was a pro going 11 MPH. top speed. She loved it. What a memorable birthday she had that day! I can not wait to return and full tour. I recommended this activity to many of my friends already. The guys at Capitol Segway were great!

I live in DC, and I bought this tour for my dad as a Father's day present. He's a history junkie and absolutely loved it! He said it was his favorite part of the weekend. It's a great tour, very fun, but you definitely have to be able to laugh at yourself.

The tour was great. Our tour guides were absolutely fantastic! The segways are a lot of fun to ride; not hard at all to learn. It's a great way to get through the city quickly. I wouldn't recommend it as your sole way of seeing DC. One benefit was that they provide headphones for you and talk that way so this maximizes the time you can scoot around and minimizes having to huddle in a group to hear about a site. Downsides: 1) This is a two hour tour that is rather expensive...and ours ended 15 minutes early. I felt jipped! 2) They never took us to see a large number of the memorials that were promised in the description (Lincoln, WWII, Korean, Vietnam...), and 3) occasionally there was noise in the headsets and it was hard to tell what they were saying. Not sure this can be helped. Overall a great tour- I just wish they had taken us around for the full two hours and had showed us all of the sites they promised!
