Capital Segway

Scott and Karen provided excellent training and an informative tour. I plan to return for a tour with my adult sons. Thank you. The pre-tour communication with the staff about scheduling the tour was also excellent!

Overall fun activity; also educational; equipment worked fine; good overview & orientation beforehand; knowledgeable, friendly, upbeat leader/guide; the route took us around the mall, the Wash monument, the major Smithsonian museums, the White House; the activity was good from every point of view

nice and informative guide. Segways are just too much fun to ride!!! Felt safe during the tour. I would repeat the next time I go to DC, or any other city with a Segway tour. This is my second Segway tour, first was Chicago, and because DC is more open, with wider streets, etc. getting around the entire area was easier than Chicago. But loved both. I would recommend that they increase their souvenir selection. I bought 2 Tshirts, but a Segway keychain would have been neat, or some other smaller, easy to carry items maybe.

Lots of fun and great alternative to bus tour of monuments. Can't go inside and risk of bad weather, so best in spring or fall

I loved every minute of the segue tour. Our guides were great, Scott and Karen. I am going to go on seque tours in every city that I visit that has them. Thanks for a great adventure.

We really enjoyed the tour and getting to get acquainted with the Segway. It was one of the highlights of our trip.

Had a wonderful time! This is a great way to see a bit of the city and get the history of the sites visited. The guides are wonderful, friendly, encouraging, and always quietly watching so it was very safe.

My husband and I are senior citizens who have been interested in trying a segway tour for a few years. Washington, DC seemed to be the perfect place to experience it. The tour took us to a lot of the best views in the city. While we were a little nervous at first, our guides Mario and Karen helped us get more comfortable on the segways. We had the most amazing time zipping around DC and the commentary provided by the guides was very interesting and entertaining. We spent a month in DC and this was definitely one of the best experiences--thank you Capital Segway!

The service was outstanding. Weather caused a cancellation on original date; someone called and re-scheduled with me for three days later, which was perfect. Description of location was right-on. Video was supplemented with experineced rider who demonstrated all the required rider skills. Practice session in the park was sufficient. Leader was empathetic with the skills of the riders, did not hurry or delay the experience. He offered his knowledge of the city, the stop points, the next location, all with a friendly and confident manner. Tour lasted the apprpriate time and conclusion was courteous. Great experience, and would do it again.

Three of us took the tour. I had been on a Segway tour before; the others had not. After a quick introduction and an opportunity to practice riding their Segways inside the store, my friends felt safe and secure as we headed out for the tour. The Segways were well maintained. The tour provided a headset to make hearing the guide a breeze (my other Segway tour did not include this amenity). The guide was very friendly and knowledgable. He kept close tabs on us and checked frequently to be sure that everyone was having a safe and enjoyable time. Due to large crowds attending a rally along the national mall, we had to improvise. Our guide was willing and able to redirect the normal route to ensure that we got to see everything that was included on our tour (and then some). The tour was the highlight of our weekend in Washington D.C.

Our group have been on Segways before and loved riding them. This incorporated the fun of riding a segway and seeing highlights of our nation's capitol. Our whole group loved the experience. Riding down the middle of Pennsylvania Ave on a segway topped the whole tour wonderfully.

We had an awesome time, and Drew was a great trainer and guide. It was wonderful that we each had earphones so we could hear everything that Drew said, something I was concerned about since I am hard of hearing. The Segways were easy to use, and I never once felt that I was unsafe (or any of the pedestrians we passed). We'll be back for another tour!
