Capital Segway

My wife and I enjoyed our time in DC. Riding the Segways made our Anniversary 10x better. I would highly recommend touring various sights via the Segway and using Capitol Segway as the tour guide. The staff at Capitol Segway were very professional and knowledgeable. Thanks for an awesome experience.

It was a last minute decision to take my boyfriend on a Segway tour on our last night in DC. He was unfortunately in dc for work and didn't get to visit the sights like I did during the days. The tour guides Did a great job teaching everyone to ride the Segway properly and were fantastic during the actual tour. The ear pieces make it very easy to hear everything that is going on. Especially simple Instructions like "turn left ahead" or "watch out for the upcoming bikes". I thought this tour was worth the money! My boyfriend loved it even more than I did and talked about it for a couple of days afterwards. Looking forward to doing a similar tour somewhere else. Thanks guys!

Have been looking forward to this for about 3 years. Last time in DC the Teenagers did not want anything to do with Segways. Guess it was not cool. So this time Just me and the wife and we had a great time. Tour guides very knowledgeable. Only one suggestion, need better radios. It seems the range was not far enough when you were towards the back of the pack.

Saw loads, great guide and a great way to get a feel for dc

This was my first Segway tour. It was a nice ride. I feel like it ran a little short based on waiting an extensive amount of time for paying customers. I am not sure if there is an option to split the group in two to allow those that arrived on time or early to get more out of the tour. I would have also like to see the Lincoln Monument and maybe some other parts of the area as part of the tour. The tour guides were great. Very knowledgeable and humorous. I would probably do it again in another town.

This was a great time for us older parents and middle aged children. We quickly became familiar with the equipment and were off to the streets of Washington. Our guide, Matt, was friendly and helpful as well as knowledgeable about the sights. We had lived in the DC area years ago but learned new stories from him. The earpiece allowing us to ride as he talked was helpful. We did the two hour tour and covered sites from the Capital to the Washington Monument. Nick, the guy that gave us the tour was great, he had tons of patience with my mom that was al ittle bit afraid of the segway, it was really funny the fact that my mom didnt speak english and how they communicate. Great experience segways and washington great combo

During an earlier trip to Washington, DC, a Segway tour group went past us on the sidewalk. I thought one of the guys looked like he was having too hard a time controlling his Segway to enjoy the tour. Then my brother in Dallas took a Segway tour there and loved it. Well, it was ON. Had a blast! Sign up! Go! The Segway became easy in just a few minutes in the park. Wonderful way to tour the Mall. Loved it!

My father 60, mother 57, sister 36 and I 31, LOVED IT. The absolute best and most fun way to see D.C. is on a segway. We have not stopped talking about our segway tour and would recommend it to anyone.

My mother and I went on the tour and we had a BLAST! The guide was informative and quite friendly. The segway training was very helpful and the segways were much easier to use than expected. It was definitely a quick and breezy way to see many of the amazing sites in DC in a short period of time. A must-do activity!!

I had a morning free from a multi-day conference and always wanted to go on a Segway tour. Based on timing and availability, I chose this. I was very pleased with the entire experience, with helpful and amusing tour guides, excellent choice of route. Would highly recommend this tour. Segway was fun and easy to use.

I signed myself, my girlfriend and 17 yr old sister (visiting from PA) up for a 9:30am tour last Saturday. We had a fantastic time, and the Segways themselves were in great, new condition (they didn't look like normal beat-up equipment you may receive when renting something like a bicycle). What really set the tour apart from exploring DC on our own were the guides. Two were paired with our 9:30 group of ~15 persons and they polite, easy-going, intelligent and actually quite funny. They wore microphones which transmitted to our headphones and the commentary was perfect - light, informative and just enough to appreciate the site. I recommend taking a Segway tour because of the ground you can cover and I HIGHLY recommend using CapSegway!
