Capital Segway

I brought my friend that was visiting from out of town and we had the best time ever! We didn't want the tour to end. I can't wait to take more visitors soon!

Our group was a 72 year old mom with 3 daughters and 1 daughter-in-law, all in their 40's. A couple of us were a little more apprehensive than the others but we quickly got over it. The instruction was very good and we felt comfortable when we got started. A previous review stated they wished they had been able to get off the Segway during the 2 hours for a foot rest and you provided that on this tour. Thank you. It helped just to move the feet around and bend and flex. This was one of the highlights of our trip to DC.

We were locals and really wanted the chance to ride the segway on an adult day off. We enjoyed a beautiful day in the city and took lots of pictures of our wonderful capitol city, segway included. I would highly recommend this tour to visitors as well as locals looking for a new adventure.

I'd been before, and loved it. I took my partner and his family; no one was as eager as I. Within 20 minutes, the 3 others were just grinning ear-ear, saying "this is SO much better than we thought". I was the highlight of a 4 day vacation in DC for our brother-in-law and wife. Now, my partner wants to go again... Only request: we'd love to have an option for kids, that would open up a lot more people for us to do this with.

This segway tour was the highlight of our trip!! The guides were extremely helpful and patient with of the new riders! And they were full of information about all the stops along the way during our tour. This is a must do if you're going to Washington D.C.!

I'm glad we took this tour. Riding the segway was a great experience, although more tiring than I anticipated - especially on the feet! I'm very glad we didn't sign up for the longer tour with another company. The guides only provide a few comments at each stop, but they were interesting. We cruised around the city enough so that later when we returned on foot, we knew where we were.

My cousin from Chicago was visiting, so I thought this would be a fun and different thing to do. My cousin is not a thrill-seeker and was a little nervous, but she enjoyed it thoroughly and said she would do it again in a heartbeat. I only wish the tour guides had some sort of microphone as background city noise often overpowered their voice.

We had such a wonderful time. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience both intellectually stimulating and entertaining. I can't wait to try the rest of the tours around the country. But I may just have to come back and do this one again.

This was my third Segway tour, the first in the country, and by far the most enjoyable. This tour provided many opportunities to enjoy the ride as well as see the sites. You can cover so much more area in two hours then if you had to walk from place to place. The tour guides looked out for our safety extremely well considering the number of D.C. streets we crossed. I will definitely do another Segway tour...where to next?

We had a wonderful experience on our See the City Segway Tour in early October 2008. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and certainly added to the success! Learning how easy it is to use a Segway was so much fun. We really were able to cover a lot of territory in a very short time on the Segways. The entertainment value of using the Segway was worth the cost of the whole tour! We had a great time.

The ride was fun (first-timer). And got to see a lot in 2 hours. The tour content was so-so, and didn't cover anything I didn't already know. Plus the $72 price tag is a bit steep. Overall I enjoyed the tour and would consider doing it again.

It'll be nice if the company can offer free beer/drinks after the tour.

My girlfriend and I had our best date ever touring DC on the Segway! It was fun and exciting. Your tour guides were friendly, energetic, informative and funny! We enjoyed everthing about your tour. We will definately do the tour again when we go back to DC, but we will do the day time tour next time! The segways are easy to learn how to drive....and once you get comfortable on them, all you want to do is GO, GO, GO ! ! ! ! ! !

My nephew and his wife, from Oklahoma, came to Washington, D.C. for a visit. I reserved a segway tour for them as an anniversary gift. They loved it! My nephew said that this was an activity he would see other people do but never thought he would actually be the one doing it! Their evening segway tour was the highlight of their trip.
