Capital Segway

Tour was great and fun. Be sure to bring gloves though, if the weather warrants. The Segway was easy to get used to - the best way to see the sights!

Most of all, we appreciated the flexibility the team provided leading up to and even during the tour.

My husband and I went to DC for our 9-year anniversary and did this the first day of our vacation. Totally awesome. We liked it so much that we considered doing it the next day, but the weather did not co-operate. Our guides were funny and the segway was so much fun. What a great way to see all of the monuments in two hours. You can really cover a lot of ground. And when else will you get the chance to ride a segway? LOVED it.

While most other tours were three hours, I chose this one since it was only two. I was right on that call. The last 15 min of the tour, I was feeling tired and cold. Two hours on Segway means that you have been standing for two hours straight. The group consisted of men and women aged 40-50s (except for me) and they all had a great time. We were not in DC for a fun tour, but on business. It was a nice relief to the intense meetings we have had during the day.

Great tour, highly recommend this as the first thing you do when your in DC. This tour gives you a little bit of everything, after you will have a better feel for the city and can pick which sites you want to spend more time at.

I was in the market for a Segway for personal commuting so I decided to make a date of it with my wife. They are really easy to learn to ride and within minutes you are pretty used to the machine and ready to go and see the city. The tour guides are pretty basic in their outline of the sites but we weren't really too interested in listening to them since we are local. Out of towners would probably get much more out of it. Sights include the White House, Washington Monument, Smithsonian Castle, American Indian Museum, the Capitol, and then back to the shop. It's a fun 2 hours and I would highly recommend it for tourists that want to have some fun and get a lay of the land before they head out to do the walking tour.

the absolute best way to see DC, We had more fun and learned more about Washington DC in 2 hours than I ever thought possible.

Being a local resident I still enjoyed the tour. The Segway offers a new perspective of the city and we had a blast. This is the first time riding the newer model and I must say that they are much easier to use especially when it comes to steering. The tour is a little costly compared to other tours but it was still a fun time.

Very short learning curve to ride the Segway; after a few minutes you feel very comfortable on the machine. A great way to see D.C.!

the tour guides at Capital Segway made this a fun and ejoyable activity. They were friendly and full of interesting facts and amusing jokes that helped the time on the segways go by faster. This was my 3rd tour with them but it was my friends first experience and he had a fantastic time.

Had a 2 hour evening tour. Saw all the sights. Really enjoyed the ride and the tour. Was very fortunate that we got a private tour. Only the two of us. Strongly recommend.

This is an awesome way to see the DC sites. Couldn't have been more pleased with the tour. Had loads of fun on the Segway. Didn't want the tour to end. Will, our tour guide, was super informative and very fun. Will do this again on my next trip to DC.

A funny and entertaining overview of Washington. If you need a quick glance over this city and want to try an incredible device like the Segway this is a must do!
