| Capital Segway was a fun, different way to tour Washington, D.C. Having never been on a Segway, I was exited in the first place to see what it would be like. Our (me and my brothers) experience were beyond what we were expecting. Before we got on the segways, we had a quick overview of the whole process of handling a segway, and we got to practice. The tour guide was down to earth, fun, and very knowledgeable about the DC area. Overall, I would highly recommend taking this tour, with Capital Segways. We had a great experience, and would do it again. It was an awesome, different to tour the city. The best thing about the tour, is because we were mobile, and taking sidewalks, we were able to have a closer experience to the city. It was much better than to be on a bus, or trolley. | Our experience with our recent Capital Segway tour of Washington was thoroughly enjoyable. We had recently taken a Segway tour in another major east coast city and found Capital Segway to be heads and shoulders better in a number of key areas. The training was excellent and very relaxed. We started in the showroom and when everyone was comfortable on their Segway, we moved across the street to a park with plenty of room to practice at touring speeds. Once everyone was comfortable here, we headed out for the tour. We were provided a high quality portable receiver & headset so we could hear our guide throughout the tour. Noah, our guide, was very informative. The Segways were in great shape and all units were fully charged for the tour. We have been to Washington a number of times but the Segway tour enabled us to cover a lot of ground in a couple of hours and see details we had never noticed on previous visits. | ||||||

| My wife and I spent a week in DC and this tour was the most fun we had all week. Very easy to learn how to operate, very friendly staff and very entertaining commentary on the tour. One suggestion would be to try to keep the tour group closer together so the headsets don't cut out because the group gets so spread out. Other than that, it was great! | ||||||

| The Segways took less "training" than I thought. Everyone in our group picked it up almost immediately. Very, very fun, the entire group laughed and had a great time even in the midst of some sprinkling rain. We did it on a weekend morning when there were less crowds on the sidewalks. If you have a few hours you will thoroughly enjoy this tour. | ||||||

| This was our first time using Segways, and the units were absolutely fun to handle! The tour narration was very good - a mix of humour and some intresting facts. This is an overview tour - in other words you would ride up to the sight, get some quick facts about it, take a few pictures, and then move onto the next sight. If that is your style of sightseeing, this is an absolute must! The Segway units themselves were in very good shape, and with a minimum of instruction, were easy to handle. All of us ( Mom, Dad, and kids) enjoyed the activity and agreed it was the best sightseeing tour we've every taken anywhere! A must do activity! | ||||||

| You'll probably never own a Segway, so here's your chance to experience one for yourself. They are easy to ride, and just take a few moments of use until you are ready to go. The biggest drawback is the standing. You'll be standing in one spot for the entire tour. They give a short break about half way through, so it's not unbearable. The guides does a great job of entertaining and providing interest details and nuances regarding the District. Each building has it's own story - we heard some good ones. Go seek a nice and charming experience and see the city on a Segway. Take photos, and have fun. | ||||||

| First time in Washington DC, and first time on a segway - and it was awesome! It was a really unique way for sightseeing. First I was afraid of how to controll the segway, but it is really easy to learn. The tour guy was also great, I have heard many interesting information about the city and its sights. It was a great time - too bad it lasted only for 2 hours. At the end of the tour it was a bit strange to get back on the ground again. And after that the first though I had was 'I wanna have one of these!'. It was a great tour, with great staff, and I hope I will have the opportunity to take such a tour again some time, in another city too. Thanks again! | ||||||
