Capital Segway

Great tour because of the Segway experience. Not recommended if you are interested in the capitol buildings or the museums. Our tour guides were fun, but again this tour is about getting to ride Segways and not about the buildings or history.

Everything was easy from signing up, to locating the Segway store, to printing off the tickets. The Segway tour was awesome! The guides were helpful and knowledgable, and the tour was so much fun. I just wish it was longer. Definitely worth the time and money.

It was a good tour of DC, though I thought the group of 12 was a little large. It would have been nice to have those who seemed to have some problems with riding the segway in a smaller slower group. Our tour was cut a little short due to a malfunction of a segway, which the lady riding probably caused the problem.

A lot of fun learning to ride the Segway and it would be fun to own and use one on a daily/weekly basis.

I have never been on a segway and was a little hesitant, but I have to say it is a must do. I hear the evening tours are the best. This tour provides a nice recreational tour that provides a great overview of the sites. If it's your first time in D.C., take the tour first than visit the attractions.

The guides were knowledgeable, friendly and fun. The machines were easy to ride and allow you to really take in the sights in a most enjoyable manner. I have done this twice and I am a local!!!

We were part of a small group that toured Washington with our guide. Not only did we enjoy the sites, the thrill of riding a segway, added to the experience. No way I could have walked that far. The segway is easy to master and a lot of fun to ride. It has such a small turning radius, that even navigating among groups was easy. The 2 hour tour was about all I could have handled. Your feet do get a little tired from standing on the segway, but nothing like my feet would have hurt if we had walked. I would do it again, and would have liked to do it again the next day.

Your staff was wonderful and patient with us and nice as could be. The places we went past were the important ones of D.C. The tour guides may want to work a little bit on their D.C. information that they present. I did this for my husband's birthday, and it was a wonderful way to celebrate.

The guides were very patient and friendly. Their knowledge of the tour sites around DC were quite interesting as well as informative. I had the most fun I have ever had on a tour anywhere. It was awesome. Learning about the monuments, buildings, statues and all other landmarks while riding on a Segway, was just FUN! I told anyone who asked while we were riding, just how much fun it was. I could not stop smiling, it was just so entertaining. The guides not only gave us detailed information on how to safely ride a Segway, but made sure they covered all of the information about what sites we were seeing. Including the lesser know bits that may not have come out from some other tour. They even offered to take pictures of any of us at any time. That was a quick two hours. It was difficult to give it up. The tour was outstanding. We will go again and we will do the Segway tour again.

This was a great experience. The guide was very good, the training on how to use the Segway was very well organized. The organizers took their time, and were very relaxed. Wonderful! Thanks!

I really enjoyed the tour. The guides were great, and shared a lot of history about construction, materials and the politics. The only thing that I would change would be to allow a place to "park" the Segway to allow for some occassional photography. Other than that, it was a great experience! Steve

This tour is wonderful! It gives you a fun, up close and personal tour of our nation's capital. I would suggest this tour first to anyone going to DC.

We had a good time on our tour of DC. The Segways were fun to ride, and the tour guides were very knowledgeable and professional. I only wish it were a bit longer; it was 2 hours including time for setup and instruction, maybe 1:20 or so of actual riding around.

We would recommend this tour of DC to anyone. Our tour guides made sure all of us (even a clumsy person like me) were comfortable riding the segways. We were all comfortable & able to listen to our tour guides. There were no worries about being on the segways. We would take this tour at the beginning of our stay next time. The tour guides were able to give a lot of information about the sights. This information was enjoyable & useful to plan the things we would have liked to go into & explore more. We were able to quickly cover a lot of the city giving us a bit of comfort to roam on our own. But mostly you will grin, laugh & let go. What a way to start a sight seeing trip!

We picked this tour because it allows for children under 18 if they weigh at least 100 pounds and also because the website states it included the WW II Memorial. While the Segway part was awesome, we were disappointment that suddently we were done and we had not seen the Memorial. The explanation was inadequate ("too far away") to explain missing something this important, at least to me.
