Capital Segway

John was our tour guide and was very funny and informative. I would recommend for anyone visiting or who wants a fun way to see the city and learn more about its history.

Two hour tour of DC area hitting all of the highlights in the evening. Remarkably easy and quick learning curve to use the Segways.

This was absolutely, no doubt about it, one of the most fun activities I have ever done. We had a blast touring DC on our Segways and I can't say enough wonderful things about our two tour guides (Nick and Tyler from Capital Segway). These guys were hysterical and made the entire experience so entertaining and memorable. I would highly recommend you see DC on a Segway -- and I emphatically recommend Capital Segway for your tour. They truly do make you feel like a V.I.P.

segway easier to operate than you would ever think. felt safe even though riding on streets with stoplights, cars, buses, etc. guides were knowledgeable and helpful. best $65 you'll ever spend!

I was 100% satisfied with our segway tour. The tour guides were informative and the headsets allowed us to never miss a thing. I would highly recommend this activity to anyone with older children visiting the city!

The tour group unanimously said, "Tyler was awesome!" He kept it fun and safe at all times. He was extremely flexible in adjusting the tour to meet our interests. We thoroughly loved the Segway experienced and were amazed how easily and quickly we mastered it. We saw in two hours what would have taken several exhausting hours to do by foot. What a memorable experience that was.

We loved the last tour of the day. It crossed over into sunset and the monuments were lit on the way back. Great photo opportunities AND rave reviews from hard to please teens. Segway is fun and NOT hard, just exciting! The guides gave some interesting facts and we were easily able to hear them because they used radio mics and we wore receivers. 11 in our group with a guide in front and one in the back. Perfect.

The guys did a great job of keeping everyone together, and making sure we kept on schedule. It was great fun.

Equipment was clean and in great working order. The guides were friendly and gave good training as well as a great tour. It was an absolute blast and the highlight of our visit to WA D.C.

Segways are clearly the only way to see a city as a tourist. Very easy to learn and with running commentary, you get a very thorough understanding of a new destination. Our team leader was well informed about Washinton, and was always on the lookout to ensure our safety. We've also done a Segway tour in Europe provided by the "authorized" Segway company, like this one in DC. By comparison, the one in Europe used full lightweight helmets with running commentary from the team leader. This ensured that all of the information was received clearly in the helmet. I felt by comparison that the single bud earpieces used by this authorized operator meant that in heavy traffic it was difficult, sometimes impossible to hear, even at full volume. A small issue that wouldn't stop me from doing it again.

My partner never visited DC, and we took your tour to get a nice feel of the city - and we certainly did. it was simply great. our tour guide Tyler was nothing short of remarkable - kind, knowledgeable, patient, and helpful.we found his take on the city intriguing and enjoying. Our other guide was great and kind too (I think his name was Johnny?), but he had one major problem - he talks either too low, or too fast, and sometimes swallows words, which made it hard for us to follow his take on the sites we were segwaying through. I speak native English, and it was still hard for me to follow, not to mention my partner. But again, all in all, a great experience which I will gladly recommend to anyone visiting DC. Thank you!

The leader was well versed in D.C.'s rich history, he was fun, easy to understand, gave us just enough time in each location, took advantage of those moments while we waited fro traffic by filling us in with information and personally made the trip memorable.
