Capital Segway

Definitely a great, new experience and a lot of fun. Our tour guides were full of info and funny which made the experience that much better. The best part was at the very end of the tour when they let us "play" on the segway in an empty parking lot. Was a little weary riding that thing through the streets of DC, but felt like a pro after about 10 minutes.

Excellent tour! Tourguide was very knowledgeable and entertaining, respectful of time and did a great job of making participants feel comfortable on the Segway out in the city. Tour group was small (only 6) which made it easy to keep up, convenient for taking pictures and allowed for conversation, interaction and questioning with the guide and other guests. I would highly recommend this tour and even more highly recommend this tour company. I look forward to taking future guests coming into town for a visit!

The tour guides were nice and respectful and did provide the necessary confidence needed for a newbie to ride a Segway. Would do it again in the future! Also, the places we were able to take photos were great opportunities to capture the moment!

The tour is a fun way to try a Segway - riding by all the sights of DC! As expected, this was a tour more about the Segway than the sights themselves. Scott did a great job with all the sights, but this is not a tour to take if you're interested in the sights themselves. This is more for the Segway... the additional plus is that you will get closer to the spots without having to drive/park/walk!

My friends and I enjoyed our recent Segway Tour of Washington, D.C. Partly because there were some interesting facts and stories about some of the sites we visited on our Segways, partly because we never would have been able to cover the 7 miles in only two hours if we had been walking, and partly because it was just so much fun experiencing Segways for the first time. They fast became very intiutive to operate, with no problem learning how. The folks at Capital Segway give you a brief orientation and safety instructions and then take you across the street to a large park to have about 15 minutes to practice and get the feel for operating your segway at full speed. The narrative (using headset radio) was an excellent way to hear about all the sites we visited and some interesting stories about their history. I would recommend this type of tour to anyone in D.C., and will also be on the lookout for similar Segway tours in other cities.

I would highly recommend the Capital Segway tour of DC. We had a great tour guide who was very knowledgeable about the city. It was the most fun I've had in a long time and everyone in my group had a good time. We will definitely go back again for another tour!

My son and I took the 2-hour tour this past Sunday afternoon and had a blast! Our tour guide was informative about the various sights and instructive regarding the Segways. Handling the Segways was much easier than I imagined and easier than how the training video described it. My son especially enjoyed the "free time" when he could take mini joy rides. We covered lots of DC, and even though we didn't go into any facilities, we saw lots of sights. Other tours were 3 hours long and, strange enough, we were tired after the 2 hours, thankful we didn't have to do lots of walking. Totally enjoyable!

We had a lot of fun on our tour. The only thing that would have been better is if the price was a bit more reasonable :)

The instructor was very patient with each person learning to use a Segway even though it was pretty easy to pickup. They gave us plenty of practice time in the park across from the store and then we were off. What a great adventure! A wonderful way to see the sights and have lots of fun. I'm going to look for Segway tours in the cities I visit on vacation.

I have also toured with city segway and their tour guide seemed a little more enthusiastic and informative as well as personable. Please don't assume that we don't care what you have to say-It is a tour and it is expected that the participants be told useful and unique information. I am not sure if, when you said you were bulls******, you were just kidding or not, so I'm not sure what to believe. Just because people may not have questions doesn't necessarily mean they are not listening.

This is a really fun activity even if you live in the metro area. The segways were easy to use and the tour guide was very friendly. The tour seems to last just the right amount time (you get a litte tired standing for 2 hours). The tour guide does a good job of narrating the sites that you get to see, but if you are looking for covering a large amount of ground in a lot of detail then opt for a different type of tour. However, if you are looking for a unique and fun activity this is tour for you!!

Fun and fast way to see all the attractions in DC in one day. The tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly.
