Capital Segway

Excellent experience. Very easy to learn how to handle the Segway. Tour was well run and informative.

Really enjoyed the guide and the fact that he narrated the entire tour as we were touring, with the headsets.

This was a great tour. It was the highlight of our 3 day trip. We did this on the 1st day of our vacation so that we could see what we could see on the tour, and then re-visit anything that we wanted to take a closer look at (i.e. Climb the steps at the Lincoln Memorial, and walk through the WWII Memorial...etc) First there is riding the Segway - one of the top 10 most fun things we done in our lives. They are amazing, and take 30 seconds to learn how to ride. 2nd, our tour guide (can't remember his name for the life of me! College kid from GW, Jimmy?) was very knowledgeable, and didn't seem like he just worked their to ride a Segway all day - he enjoyed giving the tour. I read pretty much every review on the other companies that give Segway tours and we decided on this one out of shear location because it was right across from a metro station. We are so glad we did and recommend this tour to anyone!

This fun and nervously anticipated Segway TOUR was an ABSOLUTE highlight. From the welcome to the store and the ease of entry to info and training on the Segway, it felt comfortable from the outset. The Segway was easy to manage almost immediately and way too much fun!!!! The tour began under the fabulous guidance of our leader who's knowledge and sense of humour, and acceptance of multiples of stupid questions (which never phased him) was excellent. The ground we covered was huge, the knowledge gained at each sight was personal and extensive, the extra inside details that came from the personal touch of only 8 people was a complete bonus and this really was the absolute highlight of my stay in Washington. I strongly recommend this tour and would do it again in a heartbeat. Next time I'm bringing my kids!!

The four of us took the Segway tour on our first day in DC. We had a great time and the guide was wonderful. There were only four of us in the group and the weather was great. The Segway tour is what stands out from your four day trip to DC :)

The segways were surprisingly easy to learn. It's a great way get an overview of DC but don't expect to stop and explore like you do on many of the bus tours.

Riding Segways with this company is so much fun! It was my and another friend's 2nd time and the 1st time for our other friend. The guys who work there get you up and feeling comfortable in minutes. They are fun and full of knowledge on the tour. It's just great - beautiful day, riding segways, great tour! I could do this every weekend!

It doesn't matter if your familiar with the D.C. area/sights -- this was absolutely amazing. I've been on a Segway tour in Richmond, VA but this one has more to offer -- including a knowledgeable, witty tour guide. My family took me on the trip as an early birthday present and it was so much fun. Also, the tour group was the perfect size (about 6 of us and the tour guide) so you had the opportunity stop and take photos or chat with the tour guide. It's great for the whole family.

This was a great tour. The guides were fantastic. The sites were great. Enjoyed it alot.

We were a group of 6, all over 55, 3 men and 3 women. 4 people had been on Segway's a time or 2 but 2 had never been on. Training was simple and easy. Our guide Dan was great and we enjoyed it immensely. It is an excellent way to see a metro area like Washington. Would highly recommend it.

With a Segway its easy to see Washington DC.

We had limited amounts of time to visit as many points as possible in DC. I had walked the mall already, but my husband had not. Instead of walking, we decided to take this tour. It hits all the spots you think you should see, from the Lincoln Memorial to the Capitol, and a lot in between! Our tour guide was fantastic. I loved the radio headsets, which enabled him to give us lots of fun facts about the things we were seeing as we zipped down Constitution and Pennsylvania Avenues (among others). We'd never been on Segways before, and I was a little leery of staying upright and stopping; the "safety" video didn't help much -- it scared me! But after a brief orientation session, it was really very easy. All-in-all, we went further in two hours than I had walked in a whole day! I highly recommend this tour, and would do it again.
