Capital Segway

Our guide Matt was very knowledgable, and the Segways were easy to ride, and fun.

We absolutely loved the Segway tour. It was really scary at first because we had never done it before, but our tour guide was patient and gave us good instructions. Then we practiced in the park across the street before heading out on the tour. It was the highlight of our visit to Washington, DC.

This is a Must Do activity when in DC!! Even though it was a bit pricey it was WeLL Worth it!! We took the 6:30PM tour which allowed us to see the sun set over the National Mall and catch the City coming alive under the night lights!! My wife and I are well into our 50's and it wasn't long before we were able to control the Segway with confidence. I would recommend this to anyone that fits the limitations which are 16 years or older and 100 lbs or greater. In researching the 2 segway operators in DC I appreciated the fact that this one had individual radios which allowed us to hear our tour guide as we wheeled along the City streets. Also there was NO deposit required to be held on our credit card. In closing I can't recommend enough our Tour Guide JusTin who was extremely knowledgeable on all aspects of DC History-buildings and little known trivia and ancedotes of the area. I look forward to taking it again the next time I get to Washington DC. Thanks for one of the Highlights of our trip along with the SHuttle flyover the following day... We had one day for a quick trip around Washington and decided to do something alittle different, fun and informative and this definately ticked all those boxes. We had beautiful weather, the roads were not too busy and our Guide Tyler was really good. He kept everyone at the same pace, ensured plenty of time for photos and was very knowledgable about the places we visited, you could tell he enjoyed his job and had love for the city. We did the 2 hr trip and was a perfect way to get the highlights of the city which you could then explore further depending upon your time frames. I would definately recommend it to a friend!

First of all it was a lot of fun . . . not just a learning tour. It was a bit hard towards the end to stand so long, our feet and legs were sore! But it was so worth it! Our guide was excellent and knowledgable! It is definitely something we will recommend to anyone going to DC! We later walked the mall and stopped in museums we had seen on the tour. An excellent way to get a overview of the monuments!

We decided to give the tour a try for seven exchange students. They had a blast. Capital Segway was very thorough in training everyone and ensuring that everyone was comfortable operating the Segway. It was a fun tour and we will definitely do it again and recommend it for others.

We were all apprehensive when we first mounted our Segway's but by the time we were down the road a short distance my daughter (17) was eating an apple and driving at the same time. I have already told friends that are likely visitors to DC to look up Capital Segway.

The seaways were easy to use. Gave enough time to get used to riding them. The sights were great. Enlightenment time to take pictures. Instructors were full of knowledge and friendly

I had a blast doing this, and our tour guides were so informative and funny, and helpful, and patient. I can't say enough good things. The ear piece they gave us would cut out if you were at the back of the line, but there was another guide at the end who would tell you anything you missed. Wonderful customer service given. Would highley recommed to anyone touring the dc area. it's worth the weekend rates even!!

We had a great time on the CapSegway tour, and would highly recommend for all! Great tour guides; plenty of time to get comfortable on the Segway, and still see everything on the mall and surrounding area! Would do it again.

I was surprised by how much I loved the Segway! Great fun and great tour company!

There were only six of us total in the tour group and three of them were my personal group. My friend who lives in the city recommended we try it out becuase my twin sister has arthritis in her feet and knees and we figured it'd be a great way for her to be included without being in pain the rest of the week from all the walking. She loved it, as did the two of us. The tour guide was entertaining and full of fun facts - even an impromptu stop at the Canadian embassy where he showed us his favorite "free" place in the city. My twin sister and I already decided we're returning to do another segway tour with her husband in the future.

The segways are awesome and easy to use. The tour guides were average, but the segways were the best! The tour guides were really laid back and took pictures of everyone at each major spot.

We went for an office mate's b-day and we had so much fun. Great way to see DC so you later can hone in on where you want to return to see after the tour.

the tour itself was heavy on the use/safety of segway and not too much on the washington highlights. we enjoyed the use of the segways however were anticipating more of a commentary of washington sites and buildings
