Capital Segway

Segways were easy to learn to use and a fun way to see DC.

My adult son came for a visit, and I was looking for special things to do with him, since we had not seen him for over 10 months. We took the metro in to town, and he confessed his fear that 3 hours would be much too long for this tour. The metro exit was right there, close to the place the tour started. Well, let me tell you, he had as much fun as I did! We liked having a headset, so we could hear our guide, Tyler, who was awesome. As we traveled in the bike lanes Tyler would warn us of anything we needed to watch out for. Plus he gave us much more of a history of DC tour, since he could talk to us even while we were making our way to our destinations. We had a blast, and I will definitely take other family members back for another ride/tour! Great Job Capital Segway! This was well worth the money.

Thoroughly enjoyed the tour of the nations capitol. This is the best way to see all the places of interest in a small block of time and allows you to pinpoint spots that you want to revisit at your leisure which is what I did. The guide was awesome and the next time I want the 3 hr tour.

No better way to get around to key attractions with little effort or fatigue

initial safety video and intoduction leaves one looking for the exit door , but once on the move things become easier progressing to confident and ultimately afterwards talking to friends being smug and boastful ..well a little ..!Our two guides excellent , good fun and informative .and helpful to anyone having difficulty .. just had them ''put down'' .for holding up the Group..(= joke ..like some of theirs .. ! ). Just go and do it ..you won't remember any of the tour but thats a small price for staying alive and boasting after ...have fun..!

Our group consisted of two couples. The girls were quite nervous about the whole Segway thing but your instructors made them feel at ease immediately which went a long way to their subsequent enjoyment of the whole experience. We got some great video of the girls with very tense looks on their faces in the early stages to actually smiling and laughing later on the tour. Once again Great Job. Five star.

Our guide was friendly, enthusiastic and knowledgeable, as well as being highly professional and appropriately safety conscious. We spent an extremely enjoyable couple of hours moving across the National Mall learning about the surrounding monuments and buildings. On a beautiful day it was a perfect (and fun) way to see the sights. I would take the same tour again on any future trip to Washington.

My husband and I wanted a different way to tour the DC area and jumped on the segway ad. Would recommend to anyone tired of the bus and car tours. This was my first time on a segway and it only took a couple of minutes in the store to get comfortable. So much fun, do it!

Our family -- my husband, our two kids who are in college in D.C., and I -- loved this experience. It was so easy to get the hang of the segways and it was so much fun to zip around the monuments and other tourists and get to know the lay of downtown. There was an amazing sense of freedom, adventure and convenience! We'd all do it again in a minute. Our guides, Tyler and Dan, were terrific. They were great teachers -- got us up and running in no time -- and their commentary was articulate and witty. They also made herding the group of novices through busy intersections and across pedestrian walkways easy and safe. We highly recommend this unique way of seeing some of the sights of D.C.!

What a fun way to see DC. Our tour guides were informative, engaging and very instructive on how to operate the segways It is easier than I thought.

the city is beautiful at night and there is much less pedestrian traffic. the guide was knowledgeable and interesting. also liked that it was a small group
