Capital Segway

Really enjoyed it and it wouldn't have been the same without Matt and Justin. Both of them incredibly conscious of our safety, knew the city well and thoroughly enjoyed what they did. It was a wonderful way to see the city and clearly still a bit of a novelty. We were as much of an attraction for photo opportunities as anything else happening in DC that day. Altogether a really great experience and one I would recommend to anyone.

The Segway is a little sketchy for the first few minutes and then feels very natural. Our tour guides were both informative, helpful and had great sense of humors.

Great fun and led by informative guides who infused the tour with humor. Would definitely recommend!

My parents came to town and they wanted to see DC, so we did the segway tour. It was great! I highly recommend this tour. The only downfall is that it didn't get to all the sights my parents wanted to see.

This was such a fun and interesting experience. The Segways were very easy to ride and maneuver. It was very organized, and the tour guides were great. We received ear pieces so we could hear the tour guides speak about the various landmarks. We saw all of the great things that DC has to offer. For two hours, you get a lot for what you spend to take the tour. I cannot recommend this experience and tour enough to people.

Especially useful was the wired headsets that allowed for running commentary most of the full 2 hours out. Training was able to start ahead of time when entire group was available. Though it seems a bit pricey the ROI was high even for long time DC area residents. If it is a chilly day (like we had) dress with layers for wind and have good gloves.

Sooooo easy to master the Segway. Tour guide was funny and knowledgeable! This was the highlight of our WE in DC.

Learning about DC while enjoying the ride was a lot of fun. I will do this again next time I visit DC!

There is a lot of ground to cover when you get to DC and a great way to do it is on a bike or segway. I enjoyed this tour a little pricey compared to a bike tour but worth it. The tour includes head phones so you can hear the guide as your cruzin along the mall. The guides will offer to take pic of while on your segway. With all the free stuff to do in DC I thought I could afford 70 dollars for this tour and im glad I did

My husband and I had walked around some of the DC monuments the day before and we probably walked about 5 miles; and were exhausted. The next evening we took the Segway tour and saw so many monuments and had the informative commentary from our guides Matt and Justin - who were great! We would highly recommend this tour to everyone! Worth the money and the segways were so easy to use!

I always wanted to ride on a Segway, and I was not disappointed. The ride was fun and easy and an excellent way to have a tour of the mall without having to walk it. I would have liked it better if we could have stopped more often and visited the monuments along the way instead of a quick stop without being able to leave our Segways. I would have also liked a more informative tour along the way. I guess for the price, it was worth it, and I would recommend it to anyone interested! And by the way, I'm 60 years old and it was easy and comfortable!

Big fun but dress warmly if there is no sunshine. You don´t do much while driving around so you might get cold pretty soon.

I would highly recommend the Segway tour and specifically our guide Jimmy! We were a little apprehensive to start but he assured us of our safety and allowed us to losen up and enjoy what turned out to be an awesome experience!

I did a night tour at the end of March. We were a few minutes late getting started since a few of the other people going on the tour were late. Started watching a video after 6:30, then went to the park to practice. I was thankful to have this practice because it took me just a short while to get used to the Segway. The Segways were LOTS of fun. Our tour guide, Jimmy, gave good and funny commentary. The headsets were nice to have. My main complaint is that we were back at the shop at 8:15, and I know that's only 15 minutes short of the scheduled time, but we were also late getting started! It's also a pricey tour, so I expected to have the full time. I also expected to see more of the monuments and less of the many museums. Overall it was a VERY fun tour, and I do recommend it.

Great experience. Saw a lot of the city in a short time. Great tip from our tour guide on where to go for dinner.
