I loved the Segway tour, it was a wonderful way to see the city!

Let's face it. You are riding a Segway! This was definitely the best tour I've ever taken of DC. I will definitely be doing it again!

Having lived in the city for a number of years until 1989 I was familiar with the institutions, most of the history and the itinerary. Joined the tour more for the experience of riding the Segway than for the subject matter. But the kids kept it lively and even taught me a few things. This 2 hour (plus) activity is not a breeze for old people but a whole lot of fun for those with more guts than brains.

The tour guides were friendly, they explained everything and made sure we really had fun. i expected the tour to last a bit longer though. It was my first time riding a segway and it was a lot of fun. $65 is bit much for just ~ 2 hours though. $50 seems like a fair price. Overall it was a nice experience and highly recommended if you have not tried riding a segway before.

The segway tour was highly recommended to me by a family member who lives in the area and takes all visitors. She was unable to go with me, but I decided to do it anyway and am SO GLAD I did. It was awesome. The 6:30pm tour was perfect, the weather, the sky, and of course the segway was a BLAST. I was nervous about "driving" it but it was so intuitive - anyone could and SHOULD do this!!! I can't imagine how long it would have taken to see all those amazing sites on foot.

Great tour, nice photo ops. Great if you only have 2-4 hours to see the sights of W.DC.

I had a limited amount of time to see as much of DC as I could so I chose a Segway tour. I had a wonderful time and learned a lot about our capitol. The orientation to the vehicle was quick and complete. The tour guides were very knowledgeable and maintained a watchful eye for our safety at all times. The 2-hour tour included the major sites; I would have liked to extend the tour to three hours to include some sites along the river.

Because your fee is non refundable and I had to reschedule my return trip to LA from the NEA convention to Sunday Morning, I was not able to use the ticket. I would like some of my money back because my situation may very well have enabled you to book a last minute rider and you did not lose as much as I did. Thanks, Robert Rivers

You could easily do this kind of DC tour much cheaper on a rented bike. But riding the Segway is most of the fun and is worth the money. You start out kind of shaky on the Segway, but you end up "trusting the machine." Guides take good care of you. Not the most informative tour, but who cares? Your too busy 'skiing' on the Segway.

I really enjoyed the tour. The guides were great, and shared a lot of history about construction, materials and the politics. The only thing that I would change would be to allow a place to "park" the Segway to allow for some occassional photography. Other than that, it was a great experience! Steve

Enjoyed the ride!

Erica of Capital Segway was a great tour guide for Washington, DC. She offered up some great insights to the most obscure questions we had and gave us a great overview of DC and its history. I'd highly recommend it to anyone. Not to mention that we got to ride the Segway, which was a total blast. It took only a few minutes to master and we were off on our tour of the city. The 6:30 pm tour was a great time of day because there was plenty of light, but less sidewalk traffic, giving us a virtually unobstructed tour of DC on Segway. Lots of fun!

A knowledgeable, friendly guide and great fun to ride on a Segway.

For people who know the area and would like to take a quick tour around downtown this is it. Fun and definately interactive since you'll be on a Segway.. Extremely fun.. will do again when I have people come over and visit!
