Capital Segway

The four of us took the Segway tour on our first day in DC. We had a great time and the guide was wonderful. There were only four of us in the group and the weather was great. The Segway tour is what stands out from your four day trip to DC :)

Riding Segways with this company is so much fun! It was my and another friend's 2nd time and the 1st time for our other friend. The guys who work there get you up and feeling comfortable in minutes. They are fun and full of knowledge on the tour. It's just great - beautiful day, riding segways, great tour! I could do this every weekend!

This was a great tour. The guides were fantastic. The sites were great. Enjoyed it alot.

We were a group of 6, all over 55, 3 men and 3 women. 4 people had been on Segway's a time or 2 but 2 had never been on. Training was simple and easy. Our guide Dan was great and we enjoyed it immensely. It is an excellent way to see a metro area like Washington. Would highly recommend it.

You really got a good overview of the sites in a short amount of time so great if you dont have much time. But best part is all the fun you will have zipping around on the Segways, they were a blast... I dont have the best balance and didn't know how well I would do, but not to brag, i think I was natural, hehe.. Loved hearing the interesting stories about famous people the guides told, would have never knew some neat interesting facts otherwise, Like about General Lee's land, etc. They also were so willing to take all the pictures you wanted and even made suggestions on where to stand for good shots.. The technology is surprisingly easy to operate. The tour guide takes great care in ensuring your safe passage while providing a very informative tour. In my view, there is no quicker way to experience all that the Washington Mall has to offer than on these devices. Walking certainly seemed very pedestrian after a couple of hours scooting around on Seguays. Lots of fun for middle aged folks.

Riding a Segway is way more fun than I thought it would be. Everyone liked it. Tour was eh. If you are going through the city, there are more things to see then just Pennsylvania on the way back.

Good way to see alot, quickly. Tyler was our guide; did a great job. Two hours standing on the segways is plenty -- feet are tired.

I highly recommend Capital Segway as a fun and informative way to see DC. Tyler was a great tour guide and photographer. I will do this tour again with out of town guests.

My group and I were in town for a company conference. With much reluctance we scheduled this tour at the behest of one of our members who would not take no for an answer....and we were all glad she didnt! Most if not all of us had never been to D.C., so we wanted to see as much as possible. Our tour guide was nothing short of excellent, he was so good that my wife has scheduled a segway tour in Chicago when she visits her sister for graduation next month, I think she will be slightly dissapointed, our tour guide made the experience! We werent just riding around old buildings, and the white house, we were remembering history, we were being re-educated, we were enjoying each other, we were able to let the "awe" of the history and sites sink in because of how knowledgable, and fun our guide was. In our field of the restaurant business we rarely get time to just relax and enjoy each other, this experience definately did that. Jimmy our guide was great, we will never forget this experience thanks to him.

This was one of our best decisions: One can only recommend everyone to do Washington 'the Segway'. It is fun, you don't have to walk all day long, you see almost everything and the guides are really good in every way: They take care that nobody gets lost, tell you everything of interest and do really a great job. Don't worry: Everyone in our group was able after a few minutes of training to handle the Segway - no problem. We were on a tight schedule, so it was the ideal way to conquer Washington, although we usually prefer to walk through cities.

This was our 2nd visit to Capital Segway, and our first time to bring friends along. We had a great time! The tour guide was laid-back, very informative and fun. Plenty of time to play on the Segway, and a great intro to the Mall area for our friends who had never been to DC. Highly recommend this as a great intro to the town.

When the guide tells you it's going to be a "little" cold!! beleave him... Guides were great and very helpful and allowed the slowest person to feel right at home in the group!!

The tour guide was unprepared, unrehearsed, and gave no information about the sites or history. He simply pointed out the things we drove by such as "and there is the white house", I do NOT recommend these guys. They also cut the tour short by 20 minutes. We were ahead of schedule, so they just drove us back to the store. I highly suggest going with ANOTHER company! Very disappointing. I liked the 2 hr tour, but because we did not get off but once, our feet were very sore. I SUGGEST going with the company that gives the 3 hr tours with more time! I could have given more information about the sites just reading the map!
