Fantastic & Fun Way to See the City

| This tour was so much fun. My husband and I were on a very tight schedule on our trip, we had a short period of time to see all of the landmarks in the city and this was the perfect way to do it. The tour guide gave us a great deal of history on the areas we visited and answered any additional questions that the group had. He was super helpful in showing us how to use the Segways while on our tour and even went so far as to ask if anyone needed him to take pictures at all the different landmarks (his name was Nick). I saw this tour posted on Trip Advisor and they said that it was the best way to see the city.......I totally agree!! My husband and I were delighted with every aspect of the tour. The different builidings and their history were amazing to learn about and riding the Segway was the icing on the cake. We had an amesome time and will visit the city again Cheers! | ||||||

| If the temperature wasn't the coldest ever, it would have been so perfect. Our tour guide Noah, had great information about all of the sites we saw on the East side of the Mall. My mother was visiting from Canada and never has done anything like it and if we had the need, we would definately get a segway vehicle. Great fun, will tell everyone about it. Thank you Capital Segway. | ||||||

| We absolutely loved this! Our guide was wonderful and took lots of time to take pictures of us and take us to good photo op spots. He knew a lot about the DC sites. We are in our late thirties and had never ridden a Segway before. The training is brief and you feel comfortable on the Segway right away. They have a new version of the Segway where you just lean your body to control it - which is a lot easier that it sounds! Standing on the Segway for all that time was no problem, because you are having so much fun. Besides, it's much easier on your legs than all of the walking required in DC! It was a breezy winter day and our group got really cold especially ears and hands, so I would recommend bundling up extra for the ride. Using the Segway with gloves is no problem, although taking pictures with gloves is another whole issue! The Segways have a little pack on the front for you to put your camera, etc. in, which was very convenient. One unexpected aspect was that you become a sight for other sightseeers - everyone looks at you and some take pictures of you. But that just added to the fun. I would highly recommend this activity and I am planning to do a Segway tour in any other city I visit that offers one! | ||||||

| My husband and I were visiting DC for our honeymoon and decided to take the Segway Tour. We were the only two on the tour that day and it was great. It was January so a little cold, but not cold enough to take away from the fun. Karen was our tour guide and she was very knowledgeable. My husband and I would recommend this tour to anyone and we now want to visit other cities and see them by Segway. | ||||||

| I enjoyed this tour of the National Mall on a Segway, especially as our guide understood we were there to have fun riding the machines as much as to hear about the buildings and notable sights. The team did a good job orienting us to the Segways and making sure we were comfortable before setting off on the ride. Overall, it was a great experience and one I'd recommend to locals and tourists alike. | ||||||

| We took the Segway tour before we did anything else in DC and were glad we did. First, Segways are fun, but also allowed us to see much more than we had planned during our entire trip. The benefit of getting all over the touristy parts of the city was that after the Segway tour, we really had a feel as to the layout of the various attractions. The tour truly did give us a feel for where things were and from the tour guides' suggestions, we were able to prioritize our trip better. This was well worth the cost! | ||||||

| We were a group of 5 ranging in age from 17 to 54, and we all had a great time on this tour. There are a lot of great picture opportunities, and you don't get tired like you do if you walk around DC. I'd definitely do it again. | ||||||

| Thanks for this opportunity to say how much we enjoyed this tour of DC landmarks! I felt a little dubious and nervous at first as I'm not the world's best balancer but after a few minutes on the Segway I was away!!!!! What a hoot! It's the best fun I've had in a long time. My husband (52) and children (19 and 20) all want a Segway now and so do I! The guides were informative, very friendly and couldn't have been more helpful. I shall certainly do this tour again with other visitors........but I may well just do it again for the fun of it! | ||||||

| The oppurtunity to ride a Segway is greatly appreciated. The tour itself while not all inclusive packs as much as I could ask for into two hours. But by far and away the very best part is the two tour guides ... their factual knowledge is outdone by only their bright and cheery dispositions. | ||||||

| The segway tour is something that I really recommend for everyone to do at least once. I had such a good time, despite the cold weather. It was nice to experience the city in such a unique way. Whle it was pricey, it was well worth the price, and our tour guide, Drew, was great! | ||||||

| The tour was great and the experience of riding around on a segway was fantastic. It was amazing how quickly you pick up on controlling the segway. We went in December, so it was really cold zooming around on the segway, so I would recommend going when it is a bit warmer. | ||||||

| This is by far the best way to see the city of D.C. The group leaders were so fun and entergetic about what they do. This is something for any aged adult and you get up close with the sites instead of in a bus or walking. This is about a two hour tour but should be your first stop when you get to d.c. to decide what sites and museseums you want to go to. | ||||||
