Capital Segway

Drive a Segway is great fun and not hard to conquer. The evening tour of DC was great with less traffic and less heat. Tyler, our guide, made it a most enjoyable experience.

We booked this tour having never been to Washington before or been on a segway. The segways were very easy to use and great fun. In two hours, we managed to cover most of the main sights which would have been very tiring had we walked - not to mention the heat! I would highly recommend this to anyone.

My college age son, his friend and I took a Friday afternoon tour. It was perfect...no it could have been twice as long! Our guide Tyler was very good both with herding the group, training in flight, and touring the sights. The DC tour does in two hours what would take a normal tourist all day. A very good overview of the Mall's favorites plus some local color and a restaurant recommendation or two thrown in. We want to go back! As a life-long tourist and DC buff, it was one of the best "rides" I've taken.

Great fun. The headphones that you wear to hear the tour guides is a great idea! Recommend highly! Lots of fun!

Outstanding way to see Washington DC and the Mall. Provides a picturesque overview and history of those areas while experiencing the magic of the Segway. The knowledge and humor of the tour director was delightful. The use of headsets made communication easier and the trip safer. It was a good choice and value to cover a great amount of ground in 2 hours. Well worth it.

We hit up many historical sites. Matt, our tour guide, was very informative of all buildings and historical events. He was great! We only stopped at one location but wish we did more stops.

I cannot recommend the Washington Segway tour highly enough.It is a fun way to see the major sights of the city with an interesting and informative commentary of the area. This was my 4th segway tour in different cities around the world and I believe ranks as the best yet!

We really enjoyed the tour in DC. It was the best way to get the feel and layout of the city. We had a great time. We highly recommend this tour.

Took tour in Washington DC from 7:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Guide was friendly & informed, gave good instructions/guidance and we had a ball. You adapt quickly to operating the segwey. It started to rain 10 minutes into the tour but it didn't dampen anyones' spirit. We had so much fun. I'd recommend it to anyone visiting the capitol city. The only drawback was, we hoped to see DC lit up at night and with the rain it wasn't as dramatic as anticipated. Otherwise, go for it, have fun!!!!!

My son and I really enjoyed the tour... It was educational as well as fun... I would reccomend this form of touring to everyone I know... I actually handed out quite a few of your flyers while I was sight seeing...My son said, "you act like you work for the company." We had a blast.....

Had a blast. We learned a lot more about the history of the monuments than we expected. Our tour guide was very funny as well and kept us very entertained. I only wish it could have been a three hour tour. Thanks for a great memory.

It was fun, exciting and they got us closer to tourist attractions than any other tour.

This is a fun way to see the National Mall and the White House. Our guide, Matt, was great and was happy to take photos. This is a great activity to do on your first day in the city to help you get your bearings. This was our first time on a Segway and we found them very easy to operate. I highly recommend wearing comfortable shoes such as sneakers/trainers but even then our feet began to ache quite quickly which I wasn't expecting. But that aside, we enjoyed the tour and took some great photos.

We had just landed that afternoon and wanted a fun way to get the "lay of the land", before touring the sights. It was VERY warm but it didn't deter our two guides from showing us a great time. We covered a lot of ground after a thorough safety briefing. I loved the headsets that allowed us to hear the thorough narration given throughout the tour. My husband, who had not Segwayed before, is now a convert. We have already booked our next tour in Curacao!
